Does anyone have an actual picture of the color.  Is it more grey or brown?

It has two switches, one controls the heat and the other controls the "fire" look. So you have the option to have a dark until screen or the look of the fire logs.

Hi Jody! One button (right) will turn on the unit and the flames (there are fake logs inside the fireplace insert; it is not a picture), the other button will turn on the heater function. You can have the flames on without heat, or both the flames and heater functions on. Unfortunately, you cannot have just the heater on without flames as the flame/ON button is the same one. This box was so heavy I had to leave it on porch until my husband got home. And it took 4 hrs to put together would of been 3 1/2 but we had a board backwards and didnt realize it . But once it's done its gorgeous. Only downfall no remote, u cant adjust heat level, it on and off only 2 options but it's a gorgeous piece.

The easiest piece I've ever put together. took about 3 hours but no parts are missing, they give you extra hardware and every piece is numbered so it's super simple!! loved the outcome!!!!

Beautiful piece, easy assembly

I love this TV stand!  It's beautiful and very solid.  I have no doubt this will last for years to come.  I put it together myself.  I'm very experienced with putting items together and it took me about 4 hours. There are a ton of parts but the directions were great and I didn't end up having to take parts back apart later.  It was time well spent!  I rarely take the time to write a review but I thought this product deserved the time.

Beautiful TV stand

I was very excited when I ordered this but am very unhappy to see that the bottom piece is was damaged when we took the pieces out the box. also the fireplace isn't bright at all so I'm a bit disappointed. its pretty overall just wish you couldn't see the messed up part from across the room.

I love this piece it was a very nice addition to our living room. As far as looks it satisfied my expectations. The only downfall is the very front bottom piece that is very visible had a dent and the finish chipped off. It was there before we ever started putting it together so it was not damage we caused. It was also a bit difficult to put together with the directions given. Overall it is a beautiful piece once put together just disappointed in the damage.

fireplace insert is different, the logs are all dark, and now the entire thing is very dark, compared to others photos.  It is very sturdy, but the front bottom had a gauge, yet the box was perfectly fine. The included marker made the gauge appear much better, hard to notice now. The heater can crank out heat, but we don't turn it on often, so kids don't burn themselves on the front. I wish it had a thermostat, or at least a low, medium, high function on the heater, vs the on/off only. we will likely replace this next year, and get one with a bigger fireplace insert, thermostat, and maybe even a remote. And for size reference, our tv is a 55" LG TV. I definitely wouldn't go any larger with the tv size!

insert is now different

We really actually like this a lot. I gave it a 3 because after getting it 95% assembled we noticed that the right side door was damaged! it took us 2 and a half hours to get that far and then to find that was such a let down. I do not want to disassemble it and then take it back just to have to reassemble it all over again and hope nothing is damaged that time around. Very disappointed. I can not hide the damage on the door either.  The flame is different than our previous one but we really like the new flame too. I will be contacting someone about the damage though...

Took a bit to put together but looks great. Only complaint is that there is a chip right in the front of the footer. The fireplace doesn't have a remote.

I loved the look of this tv stand and was so excited to get it. But you're Risking them not shipping you proper pieces. I'd you choose to ignore the other reviews like this one (like I did), I ran into issues with part c. They did not drill the holes properly so the whole stand does not align properly. Extremely disappointed, will be contacting the manufacturer expecting them to rectify the issue.
