Student Ambassador Coordinator
1.0 FTE, 35 hours per week
Salary: Grade 4 £19,730 - £21,414
An exciting opportunity has arisen to coordinate the Student Ambassador Scheme at Plymouth Marjon University. The post holder will be responsible for the recruitment, development and deployment of Student Ambassadors across a wide range of Marketing, Student Recruitment and Outreach projects, ensuring that the Student Ambassador team is highly motivated, appropriately skilled and passionate about Marjon and higher education in general.
You will be an excellent communicator, have a keen eye for detail and be committed to providing outstanding customer service. You will have the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, frequently working to tight deadlines. The role will also require an empathetic manner, tact and diplomacy, and a flexible and open attitude to new ideas and projects. Ideally, you will have experience of coordinating diverse teams of people (gained within an educational or community environment) and have the ability to motivate and enthuse the Student Ambassador team.
The post holder will also be expected to support the delivery of conversion events (Open Days, Applicant Days, Interview Days, Campus Tours) as well as the University’s work with schools and colleges.
