Super easy to assembleJoyI previously bought the 8 cube with stand and sweated through my assembly as I'm weak with long covid. As this is just half the size and with my prior experience with the larger piece, it was a 10 min build after laying everything out.
My only complaint it that there is a surface defect (deep scratches), thankfully on the inside and also not chipped to the particleboard like my 8 cube.
Bought this for use in my reach in closet. I do wish the cubes were smaller or there were better inserts for my clothing organizing purposes (I know Ikea has other shelving but I liked my other Kallax enough to want to stick to it).

Nice but assembly is difficult.RenitaI’m not sure why, but the assembly was so difficult for this unit. It’s a 2 person job. The holes on our particular unit didn’t line up correctly, dowel pins broke but were easily replaced by ikea& after several starts & stops we finally got it put together. It looks nice, especially with the baskets so we are happy with it. It’s a lot nicer than big box store cube units. I’m only giving 4 stars for difficult assembly & for the lack of extra dowels…they should be included.
