No, you can not plug a computer just using a VGA port.

Yes, this TV does allow you to connect a computer with a VGA connection.

I have the same television with just a central base rather than two legs and yes, the TV has a VGA port.  I use mine as a computer monitor and it works great.  

To answer what is likely your next question, the TV also has multiple HDMI ports and composite ports to connect your satellite/cable box, other computers, an old VCR or DVD player, etc.

vga is VIDEO GRAPHICS ARRAY ....so it does work for video ONLY. the sound will come from computer speakers...if u have good external computer speakers u plug into laptop with subwoofer base you can enjoy excellent sound with pic on tv used as external moniter.

if you use HDMI cord it send video AND sound......so you hear thru tv speakers....if u have no external computer speakers then this wld be better so you dont have to listen to laptop or tabletspeaker.

BOTH WORK BUT ONE SENDS VIDEO ONLY ...VGA...so get good computer external speakers as sound wont transfer.

Yes you can plug the computer to it for a screen but you have to use computer speakers for sound unless you but a audio cord which you plug into the headphone jack to the speaker jack of your computer.

Yes you can. I am using mine as tv/monitor. Hasn't worked so well for me, but it works. Mine is contrary. Often it changes from pc to tv on it's own. The tv is difficult to turn on at times especially with the remote. No pattern to it. Sometimes it comes on as it should, but often it takes a few minutes of trying things like disconnecting from power. When on pc it does like notification sounds. Had the same set up with my old Visio with no problems. Also my Visio had analog audio output and this has digital which doesn't matter unless you connect audio to an analog device. The speakers are small and positioned too low. If raised or wall mounted it sounds better. Not good just better. If not so cheap I would have already returned it. Probably fine for tv only. I can say the picture is good except that changes on it's own too. Being connected to my pc seems to be the problem, but it works fine with my Sony media player for Netflix. You might guess by now that I won't be buying another or taking one for free.

Yes, this TV has composite RCA A/V connections.

No it does not. It lacks the yellow.  It is difficult to know where to plug it in and I have done so as it indicates on the directions and it is not working.

The one I received this week does not have a yellow hook up.  I still have not been able to get it going.  I plan to call for help.  I connected it as it said and it is not picking up the satellite connection.

Most newer tvs have HDMI, USB and coaxial cable connections. Older tvs used red, white and yellow RCA connections. You may see Red, Blue and Green instead that is for HD. You can use those just substitute
Red to Red
White to Blue 
Yellow to Green
Red and White or Red and Blue are your sound or audio connections
Yellow or Green are your video or picture connection.

Yes you can hook up an old dvd player, I did.  The audio is the red/white.  The yellow video cable goes to the green.

This television is wall-mountable with the appropriate size bracket.  The brackets are sold in stationary and articulating.  The owner&#39;s manual will list the right size bracket and screw length.  Be sure to attach to wall studs and not just wallboard of the television will fall off of the wall in short order and ruin both your wall and the television.
