I homeschool my 5 yr old daughter. I thought this would be a cool book to have. It isn't bad, but it's not quite what I expected. I expected text.. like more than is provided. Price and shipping were both good. Product could use some more though. When I first opened this up I thought "how cool!" because it provides a nice visual timeline, and shows many creatures unheard of by most. It's very interesting. When we opened up the full visual we expected to find more behind it. So it was a little disappointing in that regard. It's great for reference and for introducing evolution. The illustrations are beautiful too! We will definitely get use out of this one.But again.. I wish there were more to it! I'm going to post a picture or 2, so that you can see how the book is formated, without giving the content, so pardon the angle lol

I really enjoy the quirky aesthetic of Katie Scott and plan on buying some of her other offerings. I was not aware that this is not a book, per se, rather a long, accordion-folded evolutionary continuum chart on good quality thick paper, with written content discussing time periods on the back. Maybe not the easiest presentation to enjoy with a child but I plan to display it like a long poster.

I love this book. It's a beautiful conversation piece and it inspires my own artwork greatly.

5.0 out of 5 stars La vita sulla Terra raccontata con delle belle illustrazioni
Reviewed in Italy on February 24, 2017

I had seen this book in a museum shop and very much liked it but it wasn't convenient to buy at the time.......It was easy to find on Amazon and arrived swiftly and well packed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Massive fold out chart!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on January 27, 2017
This isn't actually a book rather a pull out chart but it is still stunning, the usual perfect art and colour pallet

Want to display it on the wall but it folds out very long, maybe 6/7 foot?!

Only problem is its smaller than the other books in the 'Welcome To The Museum' series so they dont line up nicely on the shelf.
