Correction there is an optical output for connection to a receiver or sound bar. There would be no need for optical input as audio is carried by hdmi for connections to bluray/4k players or streaming devices.

I finally found a 4k TV That has everything I wanted . If you like the soap opera display look this is the TV to get . If you're not sure what the soap opera look is do a web search on the term ( it has to do with motion interpolation ) . And if you don't like it you can adjust the effect through picture settings called judder  under Auto Motion Plus settings.  Nice deep colors, lots of settings to configure within the remote and the Guide feature allows you to see what is playing on TV on up to about 10 channels at once. The remote is a Samsung brand not Roku which is too basic for me. Ask if one is on display at a Walmart near you. It is worth the $600 range price

I would recommend table top tv stand or legs  .Feet placement on this tv is wide set ... this TV has good sound but still recommend this surround sound system Acoustic Audio AA5171 5.1 Surround Sound Home Entertainment System $62 before tax great deal at Walmart dot com ...

Easy to set up. The Overall that I have seen about the tv is very good. Very good picture when in High Definition. Only negative thing about the tv is when trying to view from a side angle the picture is washed out. Walmart customer service was very good in bringing my tv to me and loaded it in my truck.

BUYER BEWARE!!  We bought this TV in January 2018 and the tage shows it was manufactured the previous month in December 2017.  Because we are seasonal did not use it much last spring.  Upon our return to Florida this month we tried using the TV's Smart Hub to connect to Amazon Prime.  It does not connect and times out constantly.  The picture is very blurry when we can stream live.  If you watch TV through applications like Netflix and Amazon Prime this TV is not for you.  Walmart basically told us tough luck and Samsung does not recognize the serial number because they say the model too old.  BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

Please please do not buy it. After using 1 year 3 months (just after the warranty expires), the TV stopped working. It needs to change the power system now that will cost several hundred dollars.  So, the choice is yours whether you want to buy it or not.
