Its nice to look at and boils reasonably quickly. It is let down by the fact you can hardly see what level the water is at unless you hold it awkwardly, its very dark to look at and the handle is right in front of the water level. Also, if you are pouring and tip just slightly too far, the water starts coming out the top when you have nearly emptied kettle. Overall the kettles OK, does the job, but could be better.
