Sam Fender Tickets

No show in Chicago 9/7/22. Invited (5) others to Sam Fender opening for Florence + The Machine after seeing him in a shortened set (tech issue) at Lollapalooza 2022 in Chicago. No notice from Ticketmaster or LiveNation advising he was not performing on 9/7. We found out from security once in the venue. $900+ for 6 tickets. Florence put on a great show. I understand things happen, people get sick, they cannot perform. I got daily updates from Ticketmaster...none mentioned him cancelling. Even a 1 day notice would have been considerate. Perhaps it was a "day of" decision, but this could have been sent out along with all the other notices I got from the venue. It would have prepped us for the disappointment? A shame because Lolla turned us into Sam Fender fans, enough to pay see him again. But I won't risk purchasing tickets again for him.

Sam Fender writes really good songs. But his stage presence needs some work. He doesn’t connect to the audience. His guitar playing has come a long way. He now earns that Jazzmaster he's got. But like young Taylor Swift, he lacks confidence on stage. What's making him big is nostalgia. People like that his songs are classic rock. We shall see if he can expand his sound. If he had a more drummer, for example, his soungs would branch into Dave Matthews Band, Steely Dan, Joe Jackson and other jazzy rock artists. As it stands, most of his songs are in the Bruce Springsteen, Dire Straits and Fleetwood Mac vein. So if you love those arists, you should like Sam.

I have no words, just amazing. The energy Sam and the band bring is unreal. I genuinely can’t put it into words. You have to experience it yourself.

Much smaller venue than he would play in the UK so you get a more intimate experience without losing any of the sound. Musically these guys are so talented and entertaining - really into everything they did and it was reflected in the response and reaction from a crowd that were clearly Sam Fender fans. Loved every minute of it.

We had VIP tickets but I couldn’t see. A very tall man gave me his spot so that I could see. Great concert, highly recommend seeing Sam Fender. He was amazing!

I got back from the Sam Fender concert not so long ago and it has honestly been the best experience i’ve ever had !!! BEST DAY EVER!!!!

Fantastic 1st time experience at the Danforth Music Hall. A small venue but steeped in History.Atmosphere was electiric! Acoustics phenomenal! The staff where efficient, friendly and very helpful! Also my 1st live music concert in 3 years!! Sam Fender was absolutely amazing and the crowd didn't stop bouncing from the minute he strummed his 1st chord til the last! Im pretty sure he lifted the roof off!! Wow! I still get goosebumps thinking about it.

This was a crazy hot, crazy incredible show. Sam did not disappoint and beyond exceeded my expectations. The band sounded so good and I was completely blown away! On a more personal note: 10/10 would recommend seeing Sam Fender at an intimate venue, then going to the pub for drinks and making out with a cute golf type guy. 🔥
