It’s safe to say that Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood know each other well. In fact, they might even share a brain.

In a hilarious and adorable turn of events Sunday, the country couple surprised each other with nearly identical gifts for their 18th wedding anniversary

“When your husband sends you flowers and you send him flowers and the card says exactly the same thing!” Yearwood wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of two similar bouquets of peach-colored flowers.

While she didn’t elaborate on what messages the cards held, she concluded the post with three sweet hashtags: #happy18, #love, and #morethanever.

Brooks and Yearwood were friends and collaborators before they began dating around 2000. They married on December 10, 2005 at their home in Owasso, Oklahoma.

“We have a friendship that’s a great base for all of it,” Yearwood explained in a 2016 interview with Parade. “We made a conscious effort when we got married not to be apart. Garth was retired but I wasn’t. So when I moved to Oklahoma I cut my tour dates way down. Then I eventually didn’t tour. That’s how my cookbook began. It was something to do creatively that I could do at home, never dreaming it would turn into all this other stuff. Ninety nine percent of the time we’re together. We don’t spend very many nights apart.”

Brooks told People in October that he and Yearwood draw inspiration from Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter’s legendary 77-year marriage.

“They’ve inspired us in a lot of ways, in the ways you expect: humanity, humbleness, work ethic. But they’ve also inspired us by their example as husband and wife,” Brooks explained. “We worked beside them for the last 15 years, and you notice right away they bicker back and forth about the right way to do things. That kind of works for us too!”

Happy anniversary, y’all!
