Yes, thin metal stakes that work pretty well. However, once you stake it, you can't raise or lower the canopy because the legs are angled out and moving it requires unstaking it and resetting it.

the canopy comes with stakes sorta speak and rope to anchor it down better then free standing. i think 8 stakes

I use this in the yard, without stakes. I believe it could easily be used on a solid surface without stakes and be very stable.

It can be put up on a solid surface, but I wouldn't leave it like that.  We put ours up in our backyard with 3 sides staked down and one side resting on our patio.  At the first storm, the unstaked leg buckled and several pieces snapped in the wind.  It was not a stong storm.

Connie, under your conditions & demands of this unit, it may not last more than a few months.
This is not the commercial grade version of the pop-up you may be referring to that may cost around $1000+ each.
Perhaps try this unit out and keep in mind this unit is not that durable and may break under your demands...then again, it may not.
Perhaps buy two units, keeping one as a back up

Somewhat, it broke the first time i used it and had to leave it cause it wouldn't fit in the car stay away.

It is a pop-up, but really needs two people to set it up.

setup should only take 45 seconds. set it up at home first and leave the canopy top on. break down and put back in, then bring with you. put weight on one leg so it doesn't move and pull out.

Yes, it is a 'pop up' . . . but if you are doing shows that very typically provide you with exactly 10' x 10' of space, then I have to recommend that you find a 'true' 10 x 10 pop up with truly vertical legs.

I use the 10 X 10 for craft shows. Its pretty sturdy & you can walk the corners out by yourself (walk around & around, go a foot each time-slow but effective). Its $92 this year at walmt, I think. I bought this 9ft strictly for shade use at home, wouldnt last thru 2 shows if I took it & it was much harder to put up alone because its so flimsy.

it doesnt just pop up you have to pull the legs open and put top on then push it up

@fgonzo you say it broke time you use it, and  and it does not fit in car ,my question is if it fit to get where you use it at ,then it got BIGGGER  and would not fit on the way home?these canopy frames fold very easily one person could take it down,but yes it harder to set up and two people makes its a lot faster than one!

We stayed at the beach for 2 weeks and this canopy held up every day beautifully, including under strong winds, rain and beating sun. It is easy to slip off the nylon cover for really bad weather, leave the sturdy frame standing, and then reattach it when the sun comes out. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Inexpensive and effective at the beach

I am my own version of Extreme Couponer / Backyard Mechanic to say the least lol... So by my picture you can see the idea I was going with... hit a deer and needed shelter to disassemble the front end of a 2007 corolla through a week of pretty serious rain. My tools would get rusty between jobs and was becoming very costly/annoying, so after looking for one of these for a steal for months, I stumbled upon this and im so glad I did!!! This is 20$ cheaper than Harbor even if you used the 25% off coupon they offered for mothers day. It comes with laughable tent stakes about 5" in length, but believe it or not, held this thing down in a gravel parking lot thru hurricane style rain storms where i would be standing in 2" of water (stupid me parked in a deep spot LOL) and have to go in and wait in out. not once did i get wet from underneath... and its still up to tell you about it a week later!!! Its a shame I didnt get a pic of the storm you would have been awed! This is single handedly the most valuable thing I ever bought. I litterally figured it would only last one time and bought it with the mindset it was a tarp with legs... boy was I wrong!!! There truely isnt one bad thing to say or one reason I can think of to tell you to not buy it... unless youre getting 40+ mph winds and then I would say probably get nicer stakes... or of course you dont need one.... otherwise hurry up and get it while its such a deal!! Even ebay cant beat the deal with their tarps with legs lol!

WHAT A DEAL!!!!!! MOST USEFUL THING EVER!!!!

I use this for my vendor events because I sell Tupperware and it works great. It has never blown away, always stays up, and it is easy to put up. I would recommend this product to everyone. I bought a cheap one for $35 and boy was it CHEAP, I wish I would of bought this one to begin with.

I ordered in haste (and got the great little cooler and 2 camp chairs) and didn't see the weight and that it was of the style that has the quick erecting collapsible frame – consequently the weight will get your attention – mine weighs about 28 pounds. Pack size is 8” x 8” x 48”. So, it’s not something you casually toss in the trunk and put up for a couple hours use. But, the ‘scissors’ style collapsing frame means it does go up quickly and is structurally quite strong.

Good unit

I purchased this canopy for a weekend music festival/camping excursion. It worked great! Held up to winds and rain . The only problem I experienced with it was that it was a little hard getting it to lock into position. It took all four of us together to lock it.

top canopy could be a bit wider as it shades only a 5x5 area for being a 10x10. Good as big umbrella, Priced good for higher quality.
