Doubtful it would meet in-cabin guidelines due to its length (about the same as a golf bag).  It might even exceed measurements for checked baggage.  Call your airline to see what additional rates might apply.

Used this for 8 days straight on the Beach . Worked great even in winding conditions and provided great shade as well . Worked flawlessly easy to setup and take down and store in provided bag .

Rainbow Umbrella

I like the fact that I don't have to crank the umbrella up and down.  Slide up and it locks in place.  Colors are cheerful and last a long, long time.   I use these in my backyard and I also use an umbrella stand.  It's perfect for my needs.  Enjoy!

Perfect size ! My family of 5 was shielded from the sun and the umbrella was able to withstand the wind with no problem. We sat peacefully as we watched other umbrellas turn inside out and blow away. Well worth the cost and it paid for itself after 2 days at the beach!

Perfect Beach Umbrella

This is a decent beach umbrella. Not too expensive. Has a steel frame and vented shade. However wish it had a deeper/broader detachable base. In high winds the umbrella flies off ! Have used it only once though so time will tell.

We are actually using this umbrella on our back porch in our table. It is great! It is very large and has allowed us to get outside more which is great during this time.

Bought (2) of these, along with sand anchors for a trip to Orange Beach, AL. Ordered for pick up at the Gulf Shores, AL Wal-Mart, picked them up with no hassles. Worked well on the beach, even with one day having excessive winds. Great buy!

Excellent Value and Quality

Bought this umbrella online in Ohio and picked it up in the store in Florida.  It's a great quality umbrella with sturdy fabric.  This worked well for our week long beach vacation and I expect it to last for years to come.

It is sturdy and lightweight enough to carry. The material looks and feels like canvas. The only drawback for me that it was difficult to mount in the sand. It didn't stay set all day. I had to re-insert the ground twice.

The pole tip is not spiraled and there is no cross bar as is seen in other beach umbrellas.  I've had it less than a month and the pole has already begun to rust and the fabric already has holes. There is a plastic pin that holds the pole components together. The movement from the wind causes the pin to work its way out making it impossible to close the umbrella. It's pretty, but not suitable for outdoor use. Spend the extra money and get yourself a better umbrella.
