Tide Free and Gentle Liquid Laundry Detergent

I used to love tide with bleach alternative, but since last year it just makes me itch so badly I had to change brands. I love the way it cleans, but they did something to the formula to cause an allergic reaction. Very upset with this formula change.

I have no known allergies to date except for this detergent. I have always gone with tide as my elected detergent, until now. I broke out in hives with this “free

Have used this for years but recently something has changed in the formula and both scent and performance are poor. What is the rationale behind change? Particularly in light of the fact this is theoretically hypoallergenic. Moving away to something else.

Tide Clear and free HE sud galore up my whole washing machine I wouldn’t recommend it for anybody. They did something very bad to formula just recently I had some Clorox color clothes HE no suds clean perfect clothes. I went out and purchased a big bottle of all HE clear and free wash clothes perfectly no suds only clean perfect clothes smelling good Beware, I spent four hours on two loads of suds to clean out my washing machine realizing their product has a defect, majorly suds up your washing machine, machine, and clothes

I don't know why they decided to add benzisothiazolinone (BIT) to this, but now anyone who's allergic to this or the related methylisothiazolinone (MI) or methylchloroisothiazolinone (MCI) can't use it. I was lucky enough to catch it before I used it, otherwise I would have broken out in a rash. This is one more thing to add to the list of products I can't use.

Ive developed hives and swollen skin after repeated use of this "free and clear" product. I wonder if the formula has changed. I'll be replacing the detergent asap.

I am covered from head to toe with a terrible skin rash. Waking up in the middle of the night scratching myself raw. My skin is torn to bits. I’ve been keeping a food diary for weeks, have undergone expensive allergy tests only to find out that I have no new allergies, but Tide has changed their formula without any warning. I’ve been using Tide my entire life. This is more than an upset. It’s an outrage.

I have never had hives in my life before using this detergent, but it has caused hives to break out all over my body. This is unacceptable and is clearly caused by an issue with the detergent formula. Do better!

I thought that it was just not getting my clothes clean for some reason, but after reading other reviews here, it appears that the problem is that the product just smells. My exercise clothes smell like they have not been washed at all. Wish I could return the three large bottles of this I bought on sale.

This detergent makes me itch alot. I get red rashes or red spots on my body. Although it claims to be free and gentle and designed for sensitive skin....it is not. Alteast not for me. Bring back the tide formula from 20 - 25 years ago, and I will use that. I see the review of Brandspark 2024 that lists this detergent as #1 for sensitive skin, followed by All and Arm

I really wanted to be able to use tide because co workers have said how great it is....I bought a couple bottles of the free and clear because that's all we can use. Unfortunately we had itching everywhere our clothes came into contact. So naturally if something says free and pure that's not always the case. Imagine being in a meeting and finding this out while you can do nothing but itch. That was my unfortunate experience.

I get tide free and gentle on regularly on Amazon. I had 3 because washer broke so I did t notice one of them had turned colors and had a chemical smell. Now the one I’ve been using has a few more loads in it has turned dark also. Now I have no soap for my laundry today. Very disappointing as I’ve never had any issue with Tide free and gentle before. I live in western North Carolina in the U.S.A. If you live in USA you know what we here in WNC have gone through as a result of Hurricane Helene September 27,2024. We git the high winds , gusts going to almost 100 gust winds, flooding in many places at 11 feet in some areas. Trees have literally been totally uprooted and thrown many feet away . Go to You Tube and see for yourselves. So because of the horrendous floods all over, that came from the French Broad River, I live just south of Asheville, NC . our water plants, some of which destroyed beyond repair because of the raging water that came over them. Our lical one in .Fletcher, NC was able to be repaired and in record time. So I donot know yet ,f p

congratulations on ruining what was once a perfect product. not only does the new formula not work, barely gets anything clean, but it stinks. it literally smells awful. worst of all my skin is now irritated worse than if i used the goddawful full perfumed mess of the normal formula. no thanks. for years and years it was fine. now i'm dumping 25 dollars of detergent in the trash. why cant companies leave things well enough alone any more?

The new formula smells absolutely awful! Like pure chemicals! Stinks! It's now a gross brown color also, bring back the clear!

I have used Tide free and gentle for decades - then 2 months ago I started getting hives, red blisters, major itches and red patches all over my feet and legs. I eliminated everything and discovered it was the detergent. I started searching the internet and found so many chat groups of people having the same issue with this detergent and discovered the formula change. The stress and sleepless nights this has caused me makes me furious that this was done to customers. I can’t even cover myself with a bed sheet without immediate reaction. Out of desperation I tried tide simply and this caused a severe migraine and nausea. Im so very upset and disappointed, I wish I knew lot numbers to buy bottle before formula change. Now anytime I see the word Tide I think allergy. I’m in the process of rinsing bedding and clothes x 3 - just to get the detergent completely out but I’m not there yet hoping I can finally lay in the bed or wear my clothes without immediate hives. This was my go to formula for years. I can’t express how this has upset my existence having to deal with contact dermatitis and hives.

We've been experiencing all kinds of skin issues; itching, burning, rashes, hives. Finally our son discovered you changed your formula and added an ingredient (BIT) which is a known skin irritant and banned in Europe. Currently in the process of rewashing all we own using our new non-toxic detergent. Since removing your chemical-laden product from our lives, we are healing, detoxing and improving. I've used your product for decades but no more. Bad move on your part.

I love this product. I have a question. Does Tide Free and Gentle contain any fabric softener? I wouldn't think so but had to double check because I can't have it. Thanks very much.

Why did you change the formual. Cheaper to make? Couldn't be because it is better for consumers. This new formula is more irritating to my husband's skin then the regular Tide was. Plus, it smells bad

I am highly upset. I have used tide free for years. Recently I began to have hives on my arms feet and legs…bad red patches of dermatitis. I have sensitive skin. I don’t think you (the company, not the unfortunate employees who has to read this) care, or understand what that Really means. It means I didn’t know what was happening to me until it literally exploded across my body. I didn’t know you were making changes to your product until the skin on my chest, under my arms and between my legs turned in half a day into burning, itchy skin that is so swollen with Tide rash there are no more pores. When I try some new product I try it in a focused way. For example, body lotion I’ll just try it on my hands and if they start burning or itching, the skin changes color I wash it off and don’t use it again. I don’t just put it all over my body and whatever happens, happens. What are you thinking? You can’t just put whatever you want in a product- like Benzisothiazolinone, which by the other reviews seems to be a problem - like you did over this past year to the “free

The ingredients on the bottle do not match the ingredients online at the SmartLabel webpage. Notably, the bottle does Not contain Borax (Sodium Borate) and the bottle does contain the addition of sodium lauryl sulfate. I feel as though these are important ingredients that should be correctly listed. There are a few other ingredients that do not match up as well. Overall I'm disappointed with the cleaning power of this detergent. My kids are hard on their clothes. Food and dirt stains abound. This detergent very rarely gets all of the food stains out of my kids clothes.

New formula has flared my contact dermatitis. Have been using Tide Free and Gentle without issues for many years. Took two weeks while scratching to figure out that a new bottle had been opened and the ingredients were changed. I am head-to-toe covered in cherry-red itchy skin and hives. Not happy.

I have been using Tide Free and Gentle for years due to my skin sensitivities/allergies and my daughter's eczema/allergies. My adult daughter has continued using Tide Free and Gentle, but she has had a horrible eczema flare up (itching, swelling, rash, burning) since June 2024 on parts of her body that she doesn't usually get eczema. She has been miserable and hasn't changed any of the products she's used for years. I started researching the products we use and discovered that the ingredients in Tide Free and Gentle changed around May 2024. What exactly was changed or added??

Hi guys, recently the 92 oz/ 64 load bottle appears to have been replaced with an 84 oz/ still 64 load bottle, but the measuring cap seems to be unchanged. This seems to be a bit deceptive to me, although the new detergent appears to be slightly more dense/viscous (when combined with some of the old detergent, there's a clear separation of phases). If the new formula is more concentrated, shouldn't the measuring cap reflect that?

Obvious petroleum waste/bi-product in your formulas. After using my brand new bottle of Tide Free my laundry smells very bad—like mercaptans old mine sledge. I do not consider it safe any longer. What happened? This needs to be investigated by the brand manager, P

After many years of using tide, for last 6 months all I have had is itchy rashy skin from using tide, tide free and clear, tide with oxi. No matter which brand of tide I use now, I itch and break out in a rash.

I've never had an allergic reaction to detergent. I've lived in multiple countries and used multiple detergents, although the Tide brand has always been a staple. I've been using Free and Gentle for 4 months. I didnt connect the rash that started occuring on my back every day with "free and gentle" because I had a lot of Trust in Tide. But I cut the detergent out and rewashed all my clothes and the rash vanished. Some ingredient needs to be investigated by Tide, because based on other reviews, my issue is not unique.

Really disappointed that benzisothiazolinone was added to the new formulation. Puffy eyes, swollen cheek, itchy face and contact dermatitis that looks and feels like cystic pimples after sleeping on pillow cases washed in the new formula. (Listing these symptoms for others who may also be allergic to benzisothiazolinone because it's terrible.)

I have been using the Tide Free and Gentle washing detergent for years, but the recent formula change is terrible! I began having sore and itchy acne, puffy eyes, partially swollen face, and more since I sleep on a pillowcase washed in the stuff! I believe the addition of the Benzisothiazolinone may be the cause of this.

I went to purchase a new bottle tonight and luckily read the new label. The updated formulation now contains Benzisothiazolinone, which is in the same chemical family to what I have an allergy to Methylisothiazolinone and Methylchloroisothiazolinone. I'm deeply frustrated to have to find a new product.

I opened a new container of the Tide Free and Gentle but the detergent was a brown color and also had a weird chemical smell to it. I shook the bottle to see if the color would change but it did not and I am afraid to wash my clothes with it. I have NEVER had this to happen in all the years I have been washing clothes. Would not recommend this product.

Since the formulation change, I often see suds in my machine after I wash. I have sensitive skin, so I always do my washing with an extra sinse. Even with that there will always be a few suds in the rim and more than half the time it will be enough that I need to do a second rinse. I've been using this product for years and never had this issue before. I have been using far less detergent than before never more than the first notch. The suds issue is worse on smaller loads. It's difficult to guage how much detergent to put in when it's such a small ammount and the measuring cap is so large. Isn't HE detergent suposed to be formulated not to sud?

Liquid should be "chunky" Wasted $. Won't use what's left, won't use unopened bottle and won't buy it again.

I too am having a reaction to Free and Gentle. I am getting a facial rash. I have been suspicious of the Detergent for a few weeks. I am reading I am not alone. Very disappointed and devastated.

Been using tide free and clear for years because I have an allergy to Methylisothiazolinone and Methylchloroisothiazolinone. The new formula now contains Benzisothiazolinone which is in the same family so I can no longer use. If you are developing hives or itching this could be the reason. My dermatologist said it is an extremely common allergen and to avoid.

Very interesting... I just came on here to look at reviews of this product because my face has been recently getting small pumps that I never had before. I'm reading all of these reviews about the people experiencing the same problem.... meanwhile I just bought 4 new bottles of this detergent 😭

I buy this product for my newborn and toddler, but the most recent jug had a plastic like foreign material on the bottom. Calling and messaging the contact center for this was totally useless (they even dropped the chat mid conversation). I wouldn’t waste your money on this product.

We have been using Tide Clean for years because my husband has a severe allergy to certain chemicals often used in laundry detergent or those new “unstoppable beads”. Tide clean has been really helpful/important. Just bought Tide Clean and Gentle and he woke up with hives this morning. What changed? Why?! It says hypoallergenic but that’s not quite right … noticing others having the same reaction.

Did the formula change? I have been using this for years, as the only detergent without synthetic dyes, SLS or sulfates, and without whatever is in HE detergents that makes me get hives. Now, every time I put on newly washed clothes, I am itching like crazy all over my body. I even went as far as to buy 3 new sets of clothes to try without washing, and I was fine.

No instructions on bottle, only useless "recycled plastic" self-congratulations. NO indication that Level 1 is medium load and 3 is large load and 5 is for "HE loads". Have to look that up on the internet....Not helpful. BOTYLE PRINT REQUIRES MAGNIFYING GLASS.

We bought a new bottle of what we have used for years and my daughter has had horrible hives for weeks until we rewashed her clothes and sheets in another detergent. We always liked Tide and couldn’t use the scented because of allergies, but we’re always happy with the Free and Clear. I’m sad that I may have to find a new detergent.

Received free from Influenster and I try it to wash some clothes, just with a little made a good lather and clothes wash good leaving it with a fresh and clean smell. Its not expensive and it can last for a few loads of clothes. Recommend for person with sensitive skins.

I’m generally not a fan of unscented laundry detergents. I know, I know, they’re better for your skin and everything, but I love the smell of fresh scented laundry. Other than not having a smell, this seemed to work well and cleaned our clothes just fine

Since this is free fragrance I tough my clothes will smell not clean but surprising this detergent cleans super good and its gentle with the skin since my husband have a rash with almost all detergent with blue dye color and fragrance, I would definitely recommend this!

For many years I have used the All brand because they were the only fragrance free brand available. Now I’ve been trying the tide one for over month and I’ve been loving it. I’m almost out of it and will purchase. I think the clothes come out cleaner and brighter.

There’s no fragrance to this product and I was worried at first since most of my laundry are sweaty workout clothes. It cleans well but I kind of miss having a fresh clean scent. A little goes a long way.

It’s a good size bottle and will last long if you use the actual amount you’re supposed to use. Some ppl use much more detergent than they need and it’s bad for the machines. I don’t recommend if you don’t like scentless products

I was super excited to try this Free and Gentle detergent by Tide as there are no dyes, perfumes, or phosphates which are known irritants for peoples skin. Since my skin has been sensitive in the past, I was eager to see the results! The formula is super concentrated and super effective even on the toughest stains. My clothes have come out clean and fresh with out adding the things that are unnecessary. Fabrics feel soft and gentle on my skin, without irritation of harsh ingredients. You don’t have to sacrifice clean clothes by cutting out the chemicals. I highly recommend trying the Tide Free and Gentle Laundry Detergent if you have sensitive skin or trying to cut out the chemicals to live a cleaner lifestyle.

The product works well but the detergent has developed “sludge” in the bottom of the container? The same thing happened with the Hypogenic detergent too? It is very concerning?

Firstly, I use the tide OXI clean pods which I absolutely love. I was excited to opt in for this one but unfortunately it missed the bar for me. This seems more of a fabric softener than liquid detergent. I love that it’s fragrance free but it doesn’t get stains out of clothing. Just more of a clothes softener.

I use the brand and mix and match the different ones. This one is amazing cause the smelll isnt to strong definitely worth it cause my husband skin is sensitive

For washing delicates this detergent is great. No dyes, no perfumes, no parabens is great because our skin doesn’t need to absorb extra chemicals for no reason. If you have sensitive skin, then this is definitely for you. I’m already a fan of the brand so I know my clothes will be clean with one wash and that was the case. Works in HE washers and it literally looks clear so I think it’s a no-brainer if you have sensitivities or are sensitive to scents.

I absolutely LOVE that this detergent is fragrant free and pretty clean, but when it comes to washing clothes and wanting your clothes to smell clean and fresh, this is not it. I was so excited to try this detergent as I keep my home as toxic free as possible, but when it comes to cleaning products or detergents I want all the smells and all the possible cleaning solutions to do the best job possible at eliminating odor, fresh light clean smell, thorough washing etc. I think if your into non-fragrant household products AND have sensitive skin, this is so your go to. I did really enjoy that aspect of this product. I have extremely sensitive skin and my skin did not break out in hives or in rashes due to this product. It was made intentionally for people with sensitivity issues and I think it lives up to the hype in that regard. Now, as a detergent I think it could works precisely if maybe you add a few drops of essential oil or something to really help eliminate the previous odor that is sitting there prior to washing your clothes. This item was good, it really depends on what you are looking for exactly.

I like this product a lot for clothes that need a gentle wash or for more sensitive skin. However, my biggest complaint is that it does not help with odor almost at all. So, if you use this product, be sure to use some type of odor remover or scent ( be careful of scents if you have sensitive skin). Overall, good but not as practical for bigger or stinkier washes.

I almost didn't sign up to try this product. Tide has always been a no go for m, since before I did my own laundry! It has always messed with my skin so I prefer other brands. But imagine how happy I was that their free and clear version was actually kind to my allergies!! I would buy this if I couldn't find my usual detergent at the store. It cleaned away stains nicely as well. Definitely happy with the performance.

I love the Tide Free and Gentle laundry detergent! My kids have sensitive skin, so we can’t use scented detergent or any harsh ingredients. They are also very active and love to get dirty, so it’s hard to find a detergent that is gentle on the skin but actually gets cloths clean. Tide Free and Clear does just that!

I have very sensitive skin and this has been great to clean my clothes but also be gentle enough not to irritate my skin! I’ve been using it for a very long time and you can even use it to wash norwex cloths and baby clothes.

I love tide as it is but now they’ve come out with a scent free, allergy free product. I have been using this the past few weeks and I can confirm that my clothes smell like nothing at all. For someone like my husband, who has a sensitive nose and can smell everything 10x, this was perfect for him. There was no need to air out the clothes to get of any cleaning product smell. I imagine this would be perfect for those who cannot wear scents due to allergies or eczema.

With other detergents, particularly with the dyed and scented ones, I broke out like crazy! I’m talking about rashes and hives all over my body. With this detergent, it effectively cleans clothes and also whites without the use of bleach, and doesn’t bother my skin. Although my clothes aren’t fragrant coming out the dryers with this detergent, they’re still fresh and clean-smelling.

So excited to have the small detergent for my suite laundry! I know that my bedding and towels are all going to be washed with a gentle detergent that won't leave any smells too overpowering or have anything to irritating to their skin!

This is absolutely one of my favorite hypoallergenic, dye free, scent free detergents. If you have ever used it, you are aware of the superior job it does. Although this product has been around for years it has a new feature. And I must say I’m impressed. Its revised safety cap shape allows for excess detergent to safely drain back into the bottle without spilling.

I loved that it’s free and clear as I get rashes from perfumed products. So this is an amazing option for me. It cleans the clothes while not leaving a aroma/residual in them.

I received this product for free in return for my honest review. I have used this product for over 20 years. Fragrance in detergent irritates my skin. This does not I have no issues with my skin being sensitive. I would say err on the side of using less than more as it seems a bit concentrated and even a little too much leaves a film on the clothes. Overall will happily continue to use

It's Tide! They know how to make detergent. Used this on my gym clothes, and it did its job! I do wish it had more of a fragrance, but i guess that's what makes it gently gentle. It's but again

I loved that it didn’t have a specific fragrance, it was neutral. Gentle liquid detergent safe to use in my new washer. Clothes was clean and vibrant as i used it for my white load. I recommend it 10/10

Big fan of this detergent. I prefer to wash my whites in detergent without dyes and fragrance. Tide Free and Gentle is perfect for that. There's also no weird residue after a wash.

I have used Tide over the years but never tried the Tide Free and Gentle. I enjoy the traditional Tide smell and will probably stick with that for my personal clothing. I don't think I got 25 loads out of the bottle but pretty close and the clothes were clean.

Not only does it get my laundry clean but it smells so good too. Makes your clothes so soft. With its gentle formula you dont have to worry about it breaking you out if you have sensitive skin either

The Tide free is clear has no scent becUs eit is free of perfumes and dyes. It also HE compliant so it great for my washer which is a whirpool.I decided to use this detergent on my husbands gym and yard work clothes. It really help get out the grass stains and the sweat smell. I believe it may be because this tide is not add more perfumes or dyes to the clothes so they get a chance to breath. It would also be great for those with skin sensitivity.All in all I would recommend and use it again.

I have sensitive skin that is prone to dermatitis and reacts to laundry detergents. This has not caused any negative reactions or allergies from my skin. The formula is clear which I like better than the blue colored formulas of other detergents

As someone who has had to use hypo-allergenic laundry products her whole life, due to eczema and psoriasis, it's not just about which fetergent is most gentle, but also about which works best. Tide is simply the best. While advertising campaigns can say a brand is recommended by this association or that association, Tide doesn't make me itch, and it really gets out the stains, even the oil-based. I had been using Tide Free & Gentle pods recently, but now I remember why the liquid is so much better. My first loads using this liquid came out so much brighter and cleaner. I'll be switching back to the liquid.

Unfortunately before I was able to wash an entire load my autistic son dumped the entire bottle. Thankfully I was able to use it to hand wash some laundry. I have a strong aversion to smells so I love things that are fragrance free or a very light smell. I found the detergent works really well with cold water and I will be purchasing it for use in the future.

So this is the first time I have used this laundry soap. I am happy with it, it does the job and is dye and frgrance free but still leaves my clothes feeling clean and fresh. Have used on the kids clothes and it holds up to that as well. Even the grimey stuff.

Excellent product, ideal for people with sensitive skin like me. Loved it that is concentrated and it works wonders leaving my clothes very clean and no residue. These last years I have an issue with my skin breaking out fast and I notice that using tide free and gentle laundry detergent my skin is no longer suffering. Sad that it doest have any smell but amazed of the idea that helps control any breakouts. I recommend this product to any one to try, you will love it, Tide always have great quality products.

I have to use clear laundry detergent all the time because I have an allergy to the blue dye. I know some people also have a reaction to certain scents as well with laundry detergents so this is a great choice. It still cleans your laundry just as well as regular tide but you won’t get any reactions. Even though it’s no scented it still has a natural clean smell to it and if your lucky you are able to use fabric softener sheets without any issues if you want to add some fragrance back into your laundry. I also find this to be less irritating than some of the baby branded gentle detergents as well.

I recently use this on my whites mainly my towels which I use to dry my face and I didn't react bad like before with other detergents.This detergent has a nice scent but too much.It works great to take off the stains of my whites shirts and towels.

I have been looking for a safe and gentle laundry detergent for awhile and was super pleased to receive this one from Tide!! I have sensitive skin and this has been perfect for washing pillowcases, sheets, and undergarments! Such a relief knowing there is no fragrance or harsh chemicals in this.

I continue to not forgive you for removing tide free and gentle powder. I have been a loyal loyal user of Tide for years and know for a fact that my children and friends use it because of me. I tried the free and gentle pods - never again - giant plastic bottles or containers and I have to use your prescribed volume of product. I really hate that part And it does not clean as well. I have the liquid. Again giant ridiculous plastic bottles. The jury is out on whether I will continue to use. I am trying the Tide bleach powder today which is the reason I am writing. It stinks. The smell is pervasive and stupidly pervasive. There is nothing environmentally good about that and it really smells awful. Why anyone in the world would ever want to go around smelling like laundry detergent is beyond me. And now my hose smells like it. I am throwing it away. Good grief be better.

I like this laundry detergent soap because I have many allergies to fragrances, colors and chemicals. My doctor recommended free and clear products for my skin. Tide makes a great job cleaning the clothes and keeping my skin with out breaking with rashes or itchy. I also like the fact that I can use the soap with HE washing machines. It works like a regular soap but it doesn’t have the regular strong fragrance.

Great product if you don't want to have synthetic dyes on your skin. Smells very neutral. Thanks for the complimentary sample. I highly recommend.

I have used Tide detergent before but I had never tried Tide Free and Gentle. I must say that I like the Free and Gentle version better. It has the same cleaning formula without the perfumes or dyes, which I appreciate. I definitely recommend this product.

I love scents but when it comes to laundry I tend to become more neutral…I love that I can clean my clothes with a quality product like tide while being able to keep it gentle on my kids skin and even my own. It leaves my my laundry soft that I don’t mind wrapping myself in just a blanket when clothes need washing HA! This is the detergent you need with zero worries of allergies with the freshness and cleanliness your laundry and YOU deserve!

I love this detergent because it doesn’t have all the additives. I have dogs that are sensitive and get allergies from too many fragrances. I would definitely suggest this to anyone who doesn’t like strong scents or has allergies.

I have always.used tide. But i had never tried the free and gentle. I love how clean it gets your clothes. Has no scent. Its great for your whites, lingerie and panties. My sister recommended this detergent a while back since we both commonly get eczema with certain liquids that triggers our skin. I was amazed, it actually works. I would definitely recommend specially if you have kiddos it’s a gentle tide unlike others can irritate my skin.

I have used the brand Tide for years, and it's the only thing my father buys too. It works well at cleaning my clothes and making them smell nice without being overpowering. This free and gentle brand works just as good, but I can't fully say it's made a huge difference than the regular brand . It's a great laundry detergent that's affordable though and I like how it's gentle and meant for those with sensitive skin

This detergent come Dermatologist recommended. It is also free of dyes and perfumes. I love that this product is also hypoallergenic. I used this product to wash my little babies clothes. It did not irritate her skin at all. Using this product made me feel confident that she would not break out in a rash. Thank you Influenster for allowing me to test this product .

Overall I really liked it! It was nothing special as laundry detergents go but overall smelled great and took care of business. I would definitely buy again.

It smells so nice and always keeps my clothes clean. It’s not too strong in fragrance and leaves my clothes feeling soft. I have the red version and i tend to lean more towards this version

This detergent is perfect for washing clothes of people with very sensitive skin and for babies' clothes. For washing large loads I use a full capful. I personally like the scented soap. The good thing about this detergent is that it leaves the clothes very clean and the colors just as vibrant.

Tide free and clear detergent has no scent or dyes in the liquid which helps with sensitive skin. It's great for people with skin and nasal allergies. A little goes a long way in an energy efficient washing machine. I do recommend it for anyone who doesn't like the scent left behind by other detergents.

As my body has changed has an adult, I have found myself needing to wash my clothes separately from my family and this Tide detergent helps clean my cleans but doesn’t cause irritation to my skin.

Cleans very well as all tide products do this one however leaves no scent and no issues with anyone allergic to a fragrance. I personally like a more fresh scent after washing laundry but my son said he didn’t feel like his clothes made him itchy like our other brand so I will be using this more often.

I washed two loads of the same clothing with this detergent. I also washed another load of different laundry with it. It slightly faded my clothes. Didn't care for it

I was worried this detergent wasn't going to work as well as the regular Tide version, but it worked great. I think I'll be switching to the free and clear version of Tide from now on.

This tide gentle detergent is really good. My skin doesn't feel itchy after use and it leaves a very very light scent. I plan on buying this again.

This product works as expected. We had no reactions to it, and it is dye and fragrance free. It is not a favorite in this house, though. My boyfriend prefers scented detergent.

I have been using this product for the past few days and it works really well. I love that it is safe for my kiddos sensitive skin as it is free from perfumes and dye. I love that it is accepted by the National Eczema Association. Still has the great quality of cleaning clothes without all the added junk. It is a concentrated formula so a little goes a long way and its safe use in my samsung washer.

Now that Tide has the free and gentle, I don’t have to use two different detergents!! It’s perfect as it’s scentless but with the same Tide strength for cleaning! My husband loves it and so do I! I absolutely hate scented laundry detergent and only will buy fragrance free. Tide free and gentle is the best! It’s fragrance free and gentle on your clothes. And it’s high efficiency washer friendly. Plus, I love that the cap has guidelines for the size of your load.

I really love Tide products and this one is no different. Cleans clothes amazingly, doesn't leave a residue or make clothes feel heavy like there's detergent left behind. And it's totally not lying when it says no perfumes. It's weird to smell absolutely nothing when using washing detergents. I'm more of a smell good person so that's why I say that, as long as it doesn't smell like cleaning stuff or soapy. If you aren't into or can't tolerate perfumes.. this is perfect. I also love the fact that it's clear because I don't care what anyone says, the color stuff totally will stain clothes, so this is awesome. Thank you Tide and Influenster for sending me this product for free. As someone who suffers from dry & reactive skin, I wanted to give a free & clear laundry detergent a try to see if that will help with my sensitive skin, and who better to try than Tide?! I found that the Tide cleaned as one would expect from Tide (fantastic if you don’t already know) but I have to admit I missed the clean laundry smell! I know! 🤦🏻‍♀️ That’s the entire free and clear thing. Although I love the quality of this product, I do miss the traditional scented Tide. Can we compromise and make a Tide that is clear of colorants and has a lighter scent? If you are looking for a free & clear, Tide is the way to go. Highly recommend but next time I’ll add some scent beads 😆

This free & gentle tide detergent is fabulous. I love using it on clothes or materials that I don't want an overpowering detergent smell. This smell is freash, and I love it. A must have in the laundry room

I love this one because not only is it good for adults it’s great for newborn laundry without it causing any kind of sensitivity problems. I hated when I had to buy different laundry soap for everyone in the house and this works for everyone.

Used this laundry detergent for a few weeks it was very good. I have not had any reactions for my skin which is a plus. There is no scent which i love as I most scented products. The clothes were clean so overall a good laundry detergent.

This detergent works pretty good. It doesnt have a scent to it. The only reason I rated it a four stars is because it came opened. I thought that was kind of a red flag.

I was surprised that this product worked as good as it did. I had a grease spill on my jacket and this took it right out. My clothes smell fresh without the fake chemical scents more detergents have in them.

I've been contemplating switching to a fragrance-free laundry soap for a while now to wash my towels with and I got lucky when I received this from Influenster. Now I don't need to search any further because I was very pleased with how well this one cleaned my towels and also left them feeling soft. Would highly recommend especially if you have little one's at home or sensitive skin.

Free and gentle laundry detergent works great. It cleans your clothes and you don’t need to use that much of the liquid to do so. No worries about sense or odors.

Cleaning power is pretty much the same as the original Tide. I do prefer the original because clothes are not only clean but also smell clean. I tried the Tide Free and Gentle this past weekend and was pleased with how clean my clothes were but not super stoked about the fragrance-free smell. The detergent smells super chemically, and was happy the smell seems to dissipate after I dried the laundry.

There’s not much you could dislike about this detergent, especially if you have sensitive skin as the lack of fragrance will prevent you from getting any irritation from it. My clothes feel clean after using it. I use this for my delicates mostly.

This does not have a smell, but that can easily be fixed with some essential oil, they clothes color was protected and it was gentle on the clothes seem to clean like my pure select detergent

First of all I like that Tide has now made an unscented laundry detergent. Prior, their original smell is way too overpowering. I wish they would stare away from using so much plastic in their bottles though. The product worked as advertised and left my clothes smelling clean rather than masking a smell with a stronger “clean” smell. Overall, pretty satisfied.

I’ve been using this laundry soap for awhile and it’s simply the best! It does a fantastic job at cleaning clothes and it doesn’t leave any irritating residue. And most importantly (in my view), it doesn’t have a strong smell to it. I wouldn’t say that I’m sensitive to fragrances, it’s more that I want to be deliberate about how I smell. I wear perfume every day, and I want to smell exactly like the perfume I’ve chosen, not some mixture of the perfume and whatever other product (soap, skin/hair products, etc) is competing with it. There are a lot of laundry soaps out there that are very fragrant and the smell lingers forever. This one just smells very neutral and it doesn’t compete with my perfume.

The detergent left my clothes so clean and the smell is amazing. My clothes came out so soft as well I love how to gentle it is. I would definitely recommend tide to my friends. And I will definitely change to tide gently liquid laundry detergent. The 37 oz bottle is the perfect size. Definitely go buy this at your local store.

It is very efficient, the clothes came out very clean. My husband is a little dirty in his work clothes, and he worked out in his clothes too. BYE BYE STAINS!

This product is an all-around win, as it offers a gentle yet effective way to get clothes clean. Some of the pros of this product include that this bottle contains enough liquid detergent for 25 loads of laundry, and it is very easy to pour. Most importantly, my load of laundry (as shown in the attached pictures) came out spotless! This detergent not only offers tidy clothes, but it also offers the effectiveness without any dyes, perfumes, or irritating residues for those who are sensitive (as some members of my family need/prefer unscented/non-irritating detergent.) The cap is also conveniently marked for measuring out loads! I really appreciate Tide and Influenster for sending this product to me and will absolutely continue to recommend it to everyone I know!

It Got the stains out of my daughter’s clothes and didn’t add any unwanted smell or skin irritation. She has sensitive skin and is also sensitive to smells. This didn’t bother her at all. We usually use All free and clear but I feel like this worked as well or better. We have not tried it on heavy stains but so far I am very pleased. We will probably switch to this as we use original Tide for the rest of the family.
