I hope to return for a longer stay.
I hope to return for a longer stay. The Regional Museum is great; I would like to have had time to visit others. Lots of great restaurants, street vendors of arts and crafts; but you need to carefully look for the locally-made items.

A beautiful walkable center. Many restaurants and cafés. We enjoyed the contemporary art gallery,in an interesting historic building.
We were there early December and the Christmas decorations were fantastic. One of the nicest places we have visited in Mexico.

The city has beautiful historic center with many colonial buildings and churches. The streets are super clean and at night they are up with beautiful lamps. The city has a very important share of Mexico’s independence movement and has a lot history. The food was very good and I think I’ve had the best pozole in Queretaro. You can easily visit and see the city and sites in three days. It’s veey walkable and I very safe all the time; beautiful Queretaro!

Downtime is quite nice.
Downtime is quite nice. Several places to visit and lots of all types of restaurants to accommodate your travel budget. This city is becoming quite crowded and visited and you must be aware that traffic jams are starting to be experienced more and more. However, if you stick to downtown (Centro Historic) you will enjoy a nice couple of days and will be able to visit the diverse museums, temples and overall neighborhoods which the city has.

I got tired of the heat and humidity in the Yucatan beach towns and I'm so glad we decided to visit Querétaro. NO humidity. Lots to see and enjoy just walking around. Great architecture, including an aqueduct!! Remember, Mexico used to be called New Spain. Our week's stay there at El Serafin Hotel Boutique will be forever memorable! The cultural center across from the park is not to be missed. We had an immersive Van Gogh experience for a fraction of what it would have cost in the US. The art and murals throughout the center are jaw-dropping! We also enjoyed the house museum: Museo Casa De La Zacatecana! Definitely drop in and chat with the owner of RELOVED (2-3 blocks down the street from the house museum!!) She likes to practice her English and she can give you tips on other tourist destinations (as well as give you a bargain on used clothing and new purses). And yes, we drank too much at Hank's Bar. Blame it on Happy Hour. But the band was awesome! Great city view and pasta from Terrazza la Grupa. Check out the daily menu at La Llave Restaurant (part of the Hildago Hotel): great service, bargain prices and delicious food! And if a restaurant offers tamarind water, order the pitcher! Take a tour on one of the trolleys! Visit the art museum located in the former convent: art and architecture and admission is FREE!
Don't get me wrong, the hotel was nice, but I felt I overpaid considering the experience. Yes, from dollar to peso, it seems like a steal, but considering the minimum wage in mexico is around 173 pesos daily, to pay over 1,000 pesos a night, there is a certain standard to expect. For starters, the room was not cleaned during my stay. I kindly asked for soap and shampoo for my second night and the evening front staff argued tooth and nail against me. I have been at hotels that charge a fourth of the price yet the staff are much kinder
My wife and I speak very little Spanish. Realizing this the desk clerk called Martin, who speaks very good English. He made our stay remarkable. Always available, always friendly, always helpful, Martin was there to answer our questions. What's more, Martin's job is in operations-security and logistics. Even though helping us was not in his job description, Martin went out of his way to make sure we were happy. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Queretaro.
This is an amazing, well-thought, comfortable and romantic boutique hotel that will be the delight of couples everywhere. It’s a bit pricey, especially if you reserve the king suite, but it’s worth every penny! The accommodation is great, the furniture is cozy and stylish, the bathroom makes you feel like you’re at the spa.
The location is unbeatable if you want to visit the many restaurant and night places in Querétaro.
The staff is very friendly and even endured our attempt at Spanish! Our room was very well appointed in a quiet area of the hotel. The breakfast delivered to your room was the best. Thank you Sara and Cesar. Also extra thank you to Cesar for helping us get a ride to the airport after our Uber didn't show and then helping to carry our luggage to meet the driver because our street was closed for an event.
The design of the hotel is beautiful. The staff was very kind and helpful. The location is great, in the center of Queretaro. Also, I recommend having brunch at the restaurant in the hotel: food was tasty and very affordable.
One night it was rainy and we didn't feel like going out so we ordered delivery and we had dinner in the hotel surrounded by the books.
The hotel's customer service was really good. The staff was really helpful and friendly. We were listened to and our requests were answered.
The location of the hotel is great. Our room was spacious and had a great view of a park. Bed was comfortable. The room included heating, which is something you will need in Querétaro in December.
It’s such an authentic cozy hotel in the heart of Queretaro‘s city centre. Our host Maria was super friendly, assisted us with everything and it felt like staying with a family.
Extra point for breakfast on the roof top terrace.
Breakfast was great, the room was well maintained and comfy, the location of the hotel is excellent, you are next to the center of Queretaro.
Amazing and really accommodating staff!
The jacuzzi at the terrace was well worth it
The hotel is well located at the city center. The Staff is kind and helpful. The room is very clean and has good noise canceling windows. It is a great hotel if you want to spend time at city center and visit Queretaro.
Very comfortable super central hotel on 5 de Mayo of Queretaro. Surprisingly quiet even though a nightclub is next door. Friendly staff, nice small garden and a very comfortable bed
Fabulous historic building but with the best modern facilities and exceptional staff. I would totally recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Querétaro. Alan
Great hotel, across the street from upscale shopping mall. Hotel restaurant food was delicious, staff super helpful in arranging early taxi for airport, etc.
