Wonder Woman on Blu-Ray Plus Graphic Novel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wonder Woman on Blu-Ray/DVD plus Ultraviolet digital code plus graphic novel of the first volume, post-crisis Wonder Woman series is a win-win. For a hard to find movie, the price point for everything one gets is also great.

Great Animated Movie!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I saw the live action, big screen adaptation of Wonder Woman several times, loved it, and am awaiting the movie to come out on Blu ray. Also, a friend of mine borrowed me The Killing Joke, which I enjoyed. Thus, after reading some reviews, I thought that I should check out this DC Universe originals adaptation of Wonder Woman. Although I have a preference toward the live action version, I nevertheless really enjoyed this movie and, as a result, want to check out more of the DC Universe originals animated films. It's apparent that a lot of effort is put into these films. I love the animation and the story! Also, the voice actors do a great job and the overall sound is very good through my home theater system. I would highly recommend this film to anyone that hasn't seen it. For those who have seen the film and/or already own the original edition, I'm not sure that I would run out and buy this version. However, it does have some cool extras, including a short documentary on the creation of Wonder Woman, and some really neat 3D art cards and decent packaging. Highly recommended!

Wonder Woman in true form
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Far before Warner Bros and DC attempted to bring Wonder Woman to the big-screen in her live action adaptation... they brought the character to life in their animated films, mostly heavily featured in the numerous Justice League titles, but in 2009 WB and DC gave Princess Diana her very own featured animated film. Personally I loved this animated film and when it was re-released as the "Commemorative Edition" I had to rebuy it all over again to show my support. If you weren't a fan or were even bored with the live action film starring Gal Gadot but are still interested in this character, you should heavily consider doing yourself a favor and purchasing this version as well as checking out the other Justice League animated films. They're superb.

Great addition for avid Wonder Woman fans
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Due to this being the third (or fourth technically) version of this animated film to release, what makes this edition worth owning? Well firstly, the embossed detail with the new artwork for the cover of this blu-ray set is quite nice. And the added 3-D art cards look absolutely gorgeous (the art is already great enough on them, but the 3-D effect created from the cards are nice and do give a depth feel to the cards. My one and only issue with the set (and the reason why I cannot give this Five stars and must give it four) is the set within the slipcover. The slipcover is designed to be slightly oversized to compensate for the 3 art cards within the box. However, due to this, when you take out the art cards, there's extra space between the case holding the film and the slipcover itself. It causes the case inside to easily slip in and out of the slipcover. Other than that, this set is great and a great addition to my collection. I highly recommend enthusiasts and collectors to get this edition of the film while they can.

Just a re-release of WW from years back..
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its great, bought it without realizing it was the version I already owned from 2011? Anyways..Ok when I watch films I do so on a 180" movie theater screen with full 7.1 surround sound and the Buttkicker transducer system. This is not to Boast but to give an idea of the clarity that I rate both 4k and 1080p films. 1st off regardless if you are huge into 4k or still collect Blu-ray; I will add that with today's (Oppo) upscaling technology along with upscaling technology on theater projectors that the difference between Blu-ray & 4k is minimal. I will say that going over 180" that you will likely see a difference and recommend 4k for 150"+ screens. I found the film to have superb sound & visual effects!

Fantastic version in an animated form.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This movie directed by talented and acclaimed animator Lauren Montgomery was originally created with an R-rating and while scenes were cut down to earn a PG-13 audience, it still has plenty of blood, gore, adult themes including a decapitation in its opening battle. They portray as a confident and strong warrior. It is quite different than the current tender, and maturing version portrayed by Gal Gadot. They are both faithful depictions of the Amazon princess. This particular Steelbook has great artwork throughout on a glossy finish. The 3 bonus featurettes are very informative as well ranging from her comic origins to a sneak peek at the 2017 movie. All in all, a great set for the WW fan.

Just awesome!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive watched all the bonus episodes and was blown away! At first I was annoyed that two versions of Wonder woman's beginnings was expressed as I watched the bonus episodes after the movie but I quickly got over that and have to give credit where credit is due. This offer is great! I've never watched or read wonder woman so I was thoroughly entertained. Im so happy I ordered this and at the deal of the day price at that! I got so much more on this Dvd than I expected. Im use to placing orders with Best Buy online and receiving an email that tells me the item will be delayed or is back ordered so when that happened I didnt sweat it because I always recieve my orders but just later than expected. This was worth the wait!!

Decent animated Wonder Woman movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With the special commemorative cover art, I didn't realize I had already seen this movie a few years ago. At that time I gave it three stars, but after seeing the recent big-budget Wonder Woman movie, I've bumped it to four stars. It has the same basic origin story plot with Ares as the main villain but it is set in the present day rather than during World War 1. It has a lot of action and lots of monsters that would be hard to duplicate in a live action movie even with a big CGI budget. Still, if you are looking for a DC animated movie, I would recommend Flashpoint over this. It has a lot more Superheroes rather than just Wonder Woman and the action sequences in that one are just insane.
