That is a good question. We do not test this water with fish, but it does remove over 70 contaminants from the water. The MineralClear (blue) filters add minerals to the water, while the basic (white) filters do not. We would advise for you to look into what type of water your fish needs to choose the best filter for its needs. I love the Pur filter as the previous one I had blew up after many years of use. The only problem -- PUR changed the filters so the ones I had from the previous one were not useable and I had to order the new ones online. The filters last about 2 months and then the light turns from green to red to let you know it has to be changed.

We live in a park that has well water and it tastes n-a-s-t-y .We were thinking of having water delivered as we have bought so much bottled water in the past couple years. We thought oh well give it a try, the price was fair and the installation is easy just pop it on the faucet no hoses no plumbing nightmares of trying to figure out what is what and where the heck does it go? I'm going to tell you for us this was a great decision we can now drink the water and save a ton on groceries not having to buy drinking water or water to cook with or have it delivered.TY

So much better

So far...excellent product.  A little cumbersome on our kitchen faucet which looks more refined but if it works,  it is worth the bulky appearance.

PUR water filter system

The product is FANTASTIC except for 1 thing, when the battery for the indicator lights go out, it can not be replaced, so the thing will still work, just no indicator light to let you know if the filter needs changing.

Very easy install. Works well. Water taste great.  Had it installed and enjoying water within 5 minutes!

Handsome and the new features make it easier to use. I had damaged the previous one with oven cleaner accidentally.  The new one is easier to transfer from tap to filtered water. It has a visible spout for the filtered side. It also increased out water pressure.

The new design looks nicer and is practical.

I like this product but I am unsure yet if its worth it. Installation was easy. My 14 year old did it in a few minutes with no problem and didnt need any tools. We have three people
In the home and we all prefer to drink water. The system has lights that light up different colors so you always know when you are getting closer to replacing the filter. Our filter lasted three months roughly. I have replaced the filter and will see how long this one lasts. Maybe the quality of water that is being filtered is very dirty and fills our filter fast. But the filter does its job and the filtered water has a clean taste. Easy to use.

Not Impressed

I like the this faucet  water filter..the problem is every time I purchased the filter replacement its a used one so I have to keep returning..I wish I can still return the faucet water filter..it does not serve the purpose. Now I have to go to the store and buy the filter and return it right away. Until now Im not lucky enough to find a new filter.. might just get rid of it.

As my luck would have it, none of the adapters fit my faucet. I still haven't been able to use it as the company said it would be May before the correct one could be sent due to the high demand of other items they are providing during the pandemic.
