Went in to the Wylder on a weekday to have a bite of Gem State of Mind pizza and did not disappoint. I've never had fingerling potatoes as a pizza topping and this did turn out to be an excellent choice. The potatoes were thinly...sliced and well cooked, the crust was soft, warm and had just the right amount of cheese. Also tried out the Mushroom Party pizza and the house made Ricotta appetizer. The Ricotta came with a couple of jams which were extremely good. The pizzas are available only in "standard size" - it should be enough for two people. The restaurant had a very happening vibe, and was not overly crowded on a weekday night. Overall, I would highly recommend checking out Wylder - I'm definitely coming here next time I'm in town, to sample some of the other items on their menu!More

This place has great pizza and generally very good food. I like the vegetable plates. It was very busy at 7:30pm and very noisy. It has more of a bar atmosphere than a restaurant or pizza joint. Enjoyed the service and food but noise not...for conversation.More

Delicious food and great service. One of the best meals I’ve had. Would definitely recommend. We live out of state or this would definitely be on our rotation.

Loved this scratch pizza restaurant! We had lasagna (yum!) meatballs and finished with the butterscotch budino. The red sauce is so fresh and full of flavor. The vibe is great, service awesome. There was a wait but we managed to find seats at the bar....Highly recommend.More

We received a recommendation from a travel writer that we had to try the Wylder and it delivered! The place at 5pm on a Friday was packed, but we were lucky enough to snag an outdoor table. Rachel, our server, walked us through the most...popular items and they corresponded to our writer's suggestions. We started with the Italian meatballs and the Brussel sprouts. The 3 meatballs were moist and not salty thank goodness. The sprouts were crispy and lightly seasoned with chili oil. Then we shared the roasted cauliflower and the mushroom party pizza. The cauliflower with chickpeas had a slight spice with the dijon and the different mushrooms on the pizza along with the rosemary was terrific. Everything was delicious! Our writer told us we had to save room for the butterscotch budino. It was very rich, but very good. Nice job!More

Our hotel suggested this restaurant and we are so happy that did. We enjoyed a delicious pizza lunch and it was great that we could do half and half of 2 different pizzas. Go early for lunch as this place fills fast!

We had lunch on a busy Sunday. The staff was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is nice, but loud. Lots of hard surface for sound to bounce off of. I had a lovely, if unremarkable salad and a glass of wine. My friend had a...sandwich, again unremarkable. Her cocktail was interesting and she liked it. It had a raft of chili flakes. I’d try this spot again and maybe hit up breakfast or dinner for a more interesting menu.More

Great pizza, but make sure you get there early because they have been known to run out of dough or have long wait times. Also, you can get half and half on the pizzas! We got 2 pizzas total, and we’re able to try 4...different types. Our favorites were.. Farm Girl and Honey Badger! We also tried the Gem State of Mind and the Bronco. All we’re good tbh. We also got the Kale Caesar (a little too kale-y in my opinion and not dressed enough). I’m planning on coming back, it’s a great place to take friends/family who are visiting and you want to show them a yummy Boise restaurant!More

You have to show up and give them your name, as they don’t take reservations. We started with drinks, which were $12 and $13, then moved to the mushroom toast and roasted cauliflower as appetizers. Both were delicious, but left us so full that we...couldn’t finish our yaha’s pizza. We saw many people in the same boat, so less is more for sure. The pizza was huge and excellent, with a puffy crust. We ordered the star chips to go for dessert, taking it back to our nearby hotel room. Definitely order it! Service was excellent.More

I've had pizza in many countries including all over Italy and the US and never had anything better. Everything was perfect for me. Plenty of crust, 1st rate ingredients, excellent construction and execution. So after 1000 pizzas from around the world I can no longer...say the best pizza i've had in the world came from a wood fired oven because these folks use gas. I went back a second day in a row to confirm. Yes.More

[9/3/2022] my wife and I enjoyed lunch at The Wylder today, dining al fresco. We came for pizza and were not disappointed! Our server, Abby, helped with our “split decision” by suggesting a 1/2 “Bronco” (salami, pickled Fresno peppers and burrata) and 1/2 “Honey Badger”...(sausage, ricotta, caramelized onions with dashes of fennel pollen and a sweet-hot honey). Both were stellar! With my wife’s wine and my ginger beer we were full for under $35 (pre-tip). Looked very nice inside, though we thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside beneath the shade umbrellas. Would definitely return on our next Boise visit and will heartily recommend to anyone!More

The Wylder has the best tasting sourdough pizza and wonderful salads. I’m hoping they open one up in Meridian or Eagle someday soon.

Amazing vegetables!!! We’re vegan/vegetarian and finding vegetables prepared well is a bit of a scavenger hunt. The Wylder has many great choices - broccolini with almonds and golden raisins, cauliflower with chick peas and dijon dressing, and several other fantastic choices. We’ll definitely come back...next time we’re in Boise!!!More
