I received the Intex Queen air bed yesterday. According to the instructions the 

mattress can be inflated by plugging in the attached cord to an electrical
outlet. The other option is using a foot pump. A foot pump was not included
with the air mattress. There is a very nice bag that came with the mattress to
keep it clean and easier to lug around.

My 8 year old grand dude plugged it in and turned on the switch. It was 
pumping air very very slowly. My other 6 year old grand dude came and 
moved the switch and the air was pumping in really fast. 

The Intex company couldn't have made this air mattress any simpler. There
are only three settings, inflation, off and deflation. It's a no brainer!

I deflated the mattress to start over to time the amount of minutes to see 
how long it took to fully inflate. It was exactly 3 minutes and 35 seconds. I
then deflated the mattress and it took the same amount of time to deflate.
Very fast and fun to watch it inflate and deflate.

The air mattress is quite comfortable to my surprise. To me it had kind a 
waterbed motion to it. If anyone old enough to remember the water bed
era. I never had one but the feeling I got lying on the air mattress made me
think of the water bed.

The mattress is very firm, it had raised (for a lack of words) wigging limes
the length of the mattress. I don't think they are really needed but I guess
it's to give the mattress more support? My grand dudes had so much fun
jumping on it. Doing that the mattress held up extremely well. The jumping
did not cause the mattress to loose any air and kept its firmness. I was quite
impressed. 

I deflated the mattress to see how hard it would be to fold and put into the
bag. Surprisingly I didn't have any trouble folding and got it into the bag on
the first try. I was expecting to struggle but the bag is made slightly over
sized. I definitely would recommend the Intex air mattress. I certainly am
very impressed with the overall ease of inflating, deflating and storing of
this mattress.

A well made, sturdy and very comfy air mattress.

This 15 inch DuraBeam Dream Lux Airbed by Intex arrived appropriately packaged with no dents or damages, essentially a bed in a box. There's a caution on the box to open carefully as not to tear or slice into the air mattress. There is a thick see through wrapper just in case.

Our old air mattress was discarded months ago after many years of use as the built in pump failed as well as a slight tear. So this Intex Airbed is a welcome replacement. The built-in pump is a great feature as not only does it inflate, but it deflates all the air as well, saving a lot of time. Inflating the bed took just under 4 min. After a while it might sag a little as the air bed is being stretched from original packaging and require inflating further. The edges of the air bed is raised slightly so little chance of falling off. It's rated upto 600 lbs so it'll take the weight without much sagging. Compared to our previous king size air bed, the quality of this Intex air mattress is much better all around. 

Overall, it's no king, but the queen has it all. The soft material feels premium, the pump is much faster, and it deflates for quick storage.

Bed in a box

The Intex Queen 15 DuraBeam Dream Lux Airbed Mattress with Built-in Pump is great to use when you have guest overnight. I love the pillow top layer because it makes it feel like you are sleeping on a real bed. I find the air bed to be very comfortable and sturdy. It doesn't hurt your back or neck like the cheap air beds. I love the fact that it has an electric pump on the inside for faster inflation. It is also quick to deflate and it doesn't take much space to store. I also like the fact that I can put my regular queen size bed sheets on it. I would recommend the Intex Queen 15 DuraBeam Dream Lux Airbed Mattress with Built-in Pump.

Airbes

The Intex Durabeam Dream Lux Queen Airbed is quite the “elephant in the room” when fully inflated! The size and thickness of this mattress is unbelievable. The Fiber-Tech interior construction provides added comfort, stability, and support. The firmness of the mattress can be adjusted quickly and easily by pressing the inflate/deflate button at the foot of the mattress, where the air pump assembly is located. As indicated by the instructions, it takes a little longer when you inflate the mattress, as the material stretches and adjusts to the process, you may have to add a bit more air 2 or 3 times. This is not a long process. I was timing and it only took about 7 minutes. The deflate process is super-fast! It only took about 3 minutes for the mattress to go flat and the instructions show exactly how to fold the bed, so it fits perfectly into the storage bag that comes included. Having the air pump system constructed in the mattress makes everything so easy. Not having to wrestle with a manual pump or exhausting yourself to get the bed inflated is a blessing. I often have some rough nights trying to sleep, getting up due to chronic pain and the inability to get comfortable. Last night, I can honestly say that I slept all night and felt rested when I got up. My husband said I was snoring (although I hate to admit it). I really like this airbed and I will use it this summer when my granddaughters visit.

A monster of an airbed

The Intex Premium Pillowtop Dura-Beam Dream Lux Airbed is the top of its line air bed! If you have ever had company come unexpectedly and need an additional bed to sleep in, you can be “rest” assured that they will get a good night's sleep on this! I love the fact that it has an internal pump that inflates and deflates with the switch of a button! However, if you are camping with this amazing air mattress, you can also use a manual pump! As I am so used to traditional airbeds sinking, this has “dura-beam” air pocket ‘channels' to ensure evenly spaced air within the mattress, that will prevent sinking. This is all while resting on a soft pillowtop outer layer, as well! There are also velvety sides that are more puncture and abrasion resistant, which any family needs to ensure their product lasts longer than the first few nights used! The max weight capacity for this specific Intex Dura-Beam Dream Lux Airbed (Queen) airbed is 600 lbs., so it would hold up to at least two adults or at least a few kids if needed! This is definitely the best airbed I have ever slept on or had. I would feel very confident having visitors sleep on this, if need be. I did not notice any air loss. I did notice in other reviews it states that they had that problem, but I also noticed on the plug that you are supposed to continually inflate it to have the material stretch naturally, so I do not know if that may be their problem. I did not have any issues, other than just trying to find a fitted sheet to fit, as it is so high! But not a huge deal! It also comes with a very handy carrying case! Also, the “pillowtop” it states it has is not exactly like a regular mattress, but as much as it can be soft on top for an air mattress.

Intex really lets you “rest” easy!

The mattress is very easy to inflate. It has a built in plug and doesn't take long to inflate. You can reverse the switch and it will also deflate for you. I really like this feature a lot. For an air mattress this is pretty comfortable as it has a nice soft feel. I did notice it doesn't dip and gave me support which was nice. It comes with a storage bag which makes it convenient to store. Very nice quality and comes in handy for an extra bed for guests. The size of the queen is good too. I would look into purchasing this if you are looking for an airbed.

Good quality air mattress

I've never used an airbed mattress, but plan to do some camping this summer and wanted to sleep comfortably even when in a tent. This seemed like a logical solution. 

The Intext Queen 15 DuraBeam Lux Airbed Mattress with Built-in Pump came in a box inside a box. I liked this because I was worried that opening the box with a razor knife might pierce the bed. There was no chance of that. And, even inside the interior box, the mattress was compressed inside a very thick plastic bag.

Setting this bed up was incredibly easy. All I did was take it out of the package. Set it on a flat surface. Plug in the pump cord and set it to inflate. The pump immediately began working and it was fully inflated in about 2-3 minutes. It went surprisingly fast. 

The mattress says that it has a pillow-top and what this really is is a second layer of plastic that inflates which has a quilted surface. It's no really "quilted" with fabric or padding. I would say that the quilting gives it some cushion, but overall it's relatively firm. So for people who like really soft mattresses, a memory foam or feather topper might soften it up a bit.

Once the mattress is full inflated it's really sturdy. I thought it would probably squish under my weight but it doesn't. It stays flat and holds it's shape even with two people on it. It holds air well, too and has been inflated for around 24 hours with no reduction at this time.

The pump has a nice feature that reverses air flow and allows you to deflate it very quickly. It sucks the air out just as fast as it pumps it up. No more rolling around on a mattress to get all the air out.

It came with a storage bag that fits it nicely and even has a carrying strap. Overall this is a really nice air mattress and at such a great price-point, it makes sense to have one on hand for trips or company or camping.

Fantastic Airbed

This is my review of the Intex Queen 15 DuraBeam Dream Lux Airbed Mattress with Built-in Pump.

First let me start by saying that it is awesome having the self inflate and deflate model. The whole set up...from the time you take it out of the box...to when it is ready to lay on...is only about 10 to 15 minutes. I also love the carry bag it comes with.

The set up is simple. Make sure you have an outlet close by, or an extension cord. The cord that it comes with doesn't seem that long to me. Take it out of the carry bag, unfold it in a space that's big enough for it, and you, to fit comfortably. Plug it in and move the sliding switch to the up arrow. You will want to keep the out let nearby because the directions say the bed will stretch and seem like it is losing air, but you just have to inflate it more until it has been broken in...probably after first use. It didn't seem to need to be refilled that much.

The deflation is also simple. Just slide the switch to the down arrow. The manual has a handy outline of how to fold it.

As far as comfort, it is pretty comfortable to sleep on. It's very good to have on hand.
