No, this product is not designed to fit a 3 layer cake.

The one I got was huge and would easily fit a 3 layer cake. My bundt cake looks tiny inside of it!

Would a 3 layer cake fit inside this caddy?

To the left of the main picture, it says it holds a ROUND cake......is this just a typo? I need one for a 13X9 OBLONG cake. Thanks

Great for all the bake goodies I make at our family, church, community meals. Easy to clean and strong for many different items.

Easy to Carry

Needed an oblong storage container for a pineapple upside down cake. Baked the cake, did the flip and cake came right out.  Size of container was perfect for a 9 by 13  cake.  Stored the cake over several days and it was pretty moist the whole time.

Worked just as I hoped

Purchased for my daughter and she loved it!  The bottom flips over for cupcakes!

Easily stained. The sides are hard to lock. Do not recommend. Too much money for such a poor product.

Save your money

Had to refund this one and buy another brand. I trusted the name Wilton … but now wary. As soon as I unlatched the little purple side latches, they BROKE OFF, and even without seeing an actual break point, those latches would NOT latch on again, making this cake cover useless. 

If you tried to lift it by the handle on the lid, your bottom half would be on the floor, along with your ruined cake.

Defective in such a way as to render it useless.

Really disappointed in how flimsy the plastic was. I returned it.

Flimsy cheap thin plastic.

This is a horrible product.  I thought a Cake Container was made for storing cakes.  Unfortunately, this one does not handle the job.  It looked great, and at first glance appeared to be just what I needed.  However, the container is not completely sealed when you close the lid.  There are small gaps along the snap down closures that allow flies to enter the container and enjoy a private party on your baked goods.  Disgusting.  This happened to me twice and then I threw the darn thing in the garbage.  You have been warned.  DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

Very unsatisfied.  Horrible design lets in bugs.
