How does the Sunday brunch Buffet work? Is it a one time trip or all you can eat?

It is all you can eat and very good. A different theme each month. We ate there in December and it was Comfort Food.

Our experience at Wolf Mountain Vineyards was a very delightful afternoon. The food was delicious. Be sure to try the grit fries. One person in our party eats gluten free and the gluten free pizza was really good. The service was great and the ambiance is beautiful inside and out with wonderful views. I would definitely recommend this place and return when I'm
In the area.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 19, 2024
I finally got a chance to check out Wolf Mountain Vineyards after having a day off from work. It rained on my drive up, but by mid afternoon the rain stopped the weather turned out to be very nice. The grounds and the facilities are very nice with beautiful views of mountains upstairs in the restaurant and downstairs in the tasting room.
I made lunch reservations for my date and I. The server was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave recommendations food and drinks.
I ordered the flying dutchman pizza and my date ordered the boucherie pizza. We shared the kale caesar salad. The food was so good!!! We both had leftovers to bring home. We paired the pizzas with a glass of the plenitude which is a blend of Chardonnay and Viognier. It was really good. After lunch we made our way downstairs to the tasting room for the wine tasting. We opted for the still wine tasting which was $25pp. Very nice day trip!!! I'll definitely be going back to check out their Sunday Brunch buffet.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 1674118Feb 18, 2024
Arrival: parking at this location is tricky for first timers but we were able to find some wine club members you guided us. Expect some narrow rows but they aren't too bad to navigate.
The staff is super friendly and great at describing the menu.
Food and beverage: We ordered the seasonal brunch cocktails but they were very sweet, we switched to their signature sparkling rose and it was the best decision of the day.
I encourage everyone to try their dip sampler it's so delicious! We ordered the salads and honestly the portions are huge! All the ingredients were fresh and crisp and they were accompanied by the most gorgeous views.
The only disappointing part was their coffee which tasted like bottom of the barrel gas station coffee but then again, we did not come here for the coffee. Will definitely be back next time we find ourselves in Dahlonega.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 19, 2023
A few friends of mine are wine club members here and brought me along since they stop by every quarter. We made a reservation on a Friday afternoon and it was packed on this fall day. The vineyard was easy to find and the drive to the cafe is through their vines. There's ample of parking, but you might have to walk some steps.
The dining room was large and bright. We were greeted and seated right away when we arrived. I love the floor to ceiling windows with a lovely view of the leaves changing colors. Our server was so sweet. We each started off with some wine and I love the claret and the coupage (Malbec). The claret is full body and really stood out and the coupage was easy to drink. The pork belly burger was fantastic! The pork belly was soft and smothered in a sweet glaze and I love the green apple slaw and the brioche bun. The fries are crispy and salted perfectly.
I was pleasantly surprised by the food, the wine and the service. I will be returning to try more items in the menu.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Nov 2, 2023
This place had great food and killer mountain views to boot. The service was fast considering how we had a large party of 8 people, and our server was very friendly. I personally ordered the pork belly sandwich and substituted regular fries with grit fries. The sandwich was good but not particularly noteworthy. But the grit fries... man, that's really where it's at! Please take the opportunity to try them, they are one of the most unique and delicious things I have had the pleasure of eating.
Come for the views, stay for the foodHelpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sep 21, 2023
The view alone is worth the visit!
The service was good and the pizza (we got the Flying Dutchman) was excellent, if oddly sliced. My Bride and her father had the Chantaloup, a blend of oak-aged Chardonnay and steel-aged Viognier which she declared "quite good."
I feel bad for ordering the coffee, because our poor, young waiter had to brew a fresh pot, and I couldn't drink it. It was, bar none, the worst cup of coffee I have ever tasted, and the second sip merely confirmed that. I drank my water and the pitcher of cream, but that's it.
Father in law insisted on paying, so I didn't get a good look at the check, but it was about $70.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 36184134Sep 16, 2023
We have been here several times for the Sunday brunch. Honestly we probably do the brunch about 4 times a year depending on the menu. I can't eat shellfish and not a huge game eats person so when those are the themes for the month we skip those.
The location is beautiful and they do a very good brunch buffet. Most of the time they so keep things hot and filled so when you go up you can expect it there. Every now and then you get someone who doesn't want to bread of the eggs Benedict and you find all the eggs off and bunch of bread and sauce. Not the restaurant fault and people can be jerks.
They do have the desserts in the corners and a coffee bar which is also very good. There usually are 3 desserts and then coffee. Usually I like their coffee and it's strong but last time it was weak, which is not like them so eh let it slide.
This place can get busy but often we don't feel cramped unless there are several super large parties and they are just taking over and not being aware of others.
Parking can be tough if you have a large car or truck. The driveways are narrows, you are in the mountains. If you have a smaller car or SUV you make want to take up here instead.
Please make reservations for brunch but for the tasting room just show up.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 362801014Jul 15, 2023
This is a new find. I gave four stars more for the manager and the food. If our server was great it would easily have been 5 stars. We had a misunderstanding but the manager handled it swiftly and with such customer focus you couldn't help but feel appreciated as a customer. The place itself it beautiful. Lovely views.
We ordered the burger with a veggie burger substitute, a few house salads with salmon, Caesar salad with salmon, and pizza. Everyone loved their meal. We tried the grit fries also...they were crispy and full of flavor. They have bacon in them so of-course they're good!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - 81517671Jun 28, 2023
I brought a group of 16 people to celebrate my birthday and it was absolutely splendid! The reservation process was very easy.
The food did not disappoint. From their charcuterie boards to their sandwiches and even their pizza. It was all absolutely delicious.
The wine was a bit on the pricey side (by the glass), but it was worth it. The service was flawless - especially considering we were a big group.
And the views! If anything, swing by the vineyard for their gorgeous views.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 172224628Oct 13, 2023
This is some of the best views and food I have ever had in GA. Everything is reasonably priced but delicious, and the winery itself is gorgeous. We came here for a bachelorette trip, and had so much fun. I had the veal burger and the grits fries- and they were both delicious. HIGHIY recommend everyone try the grit fries, they were a huge hit with our party!
