Golden Review!!

I am an associate of Walmart.com and I received this item as a sample in exchange for a review.  My family always has Oreo cookies in our house.  Our favorite flavor is classic chocolate followed by the golden.  When we were given the opportunity to try the cereal we jumped at the chance.  It taste just like the cookie!  I felt it was too sweet for breakfast ... my 10 year old didn't agree.  It's perfect for a road trip or even a quick and easy snack while watching a movie.

Perfect for Snacks on the Go

I am a little surprised by the reviews I've been reading about this cereal, giving it the lowest score possible , all because it's “too sweet”.  Really?  I mean.... with all due respect, Oreo cookies are EXTREMELY sweet.  Just as donuts are.  So when I eat a donut cereal, I'm anticipatimg it tasting just like a donut and being super sweet!
With that being said, this cereal tastes EXACTLY like it's advertised to taste!  Just like a Golden Oreo!  
First off, the cereal is HANDS DOWN the Best spin off cereal ive ever had, and by far, the Beat cereal period!  I'm
Not a Big chocolate fan, but I've always liked Oreo's.  Then Golden Oreo's came Out and they were amazing!  Now my kids ABSOLUTELY LOVE this cereal and they would eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner if I allowed it.  Same for me.  I'd eat it for ever Meal if I could.  Instead I eat it as a nice treat from time to time.  Having a bowl of this cereal, is equivalent to having like 3-4
Cookies I believe.  So a small bowl of this is a nice treat when you allow your self a little some thing on the side.  I mean it's a MUCH better option than a tub of ice cream or eating a whole container of Oreos!

BUT the Best part is, is that it feels like your eating the cream from the gold Oreo, with the texture of eating the crunchy cookie part.  The cereal is VERY creamy tasting, tastes just like a vanilla oreo.  It's not SUPER HARD
crunchy like Captain Crunch.  It's jusy sweet Golden O's in that of cereal oats, with the taste of cream from an Oreo!  It's DELICIOUS!  
**Make sure to eat with very cold chilled milk, and it's juat like eating a bunch on Golden Oreo's Dunked I'm milk, MINUS the constant cookie crumb taste.  You get wayyyy more

Really, awful reviews for THIS cereal??

I've never had golden oreo o's in cereal form so that is what attracted me to this item. So far so good! A little sugary for my taste which is why I give this a 4 star but tastes pretty similar to a vanilla oreo. Nice packaging and you can tell they work hard to seal these items,  as I got a nice crunchy/crispy taste on my first handful!

Good Snack Cereal

For a "dessert" cereal, this isn't as sweet as I thought it would be! Personally, I wouldn't eat this for breakfast but as a snack because of how sugary it is. 

Rating 4 stars because I wouldn't reach for this again compared to other classic, sweet cereals (like Captain Crunch or Fruity Pebbles).

I am an associate of Walmart.com and I received this item as a sample in exchange for a review.  Delicious.  Sugary and sweet in flavor, surprisingly with less sugar than many other post offerings! Crunchy and vanilla.

I love golden oreos so I thought this would be perfect for me! It tastes like vanilla cake! It's definitely on the sweeter side so be cautious. But if you're looking for a treat - or you're just a fan of oreos than this is for you!

Vanilla Cake Mix

Wow, this stuff is BAD.  I absolutely love chocolate Oreo O's, but this "golden" version tastes like pure sugar and nothing else.   
 Maybe if they halved the sugar, you could taste the vanilla.  It's bad in milk, and it's bad to munch on.  No one in our house liked it at all, so we called it a loss and threw the whole box in the trash.  Hate to waste food like that, but it was painful to eat.
