Best TV choice for my needs and my money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy has the best ever sales people! I received an hour of help, advice and selection of my new TV. And I was totallyclueless about what all features are involved with the setups these days. I haven’t purchased a new TV in17 years. No other store offers this kind of personal assistance. Plus I got a better price than anyone...even Amazon. When I got home with my new TV, I called Geek Squad and I was set up and running in 45 minutes...even with my new Bluetooth speaker bar. I’m loving the quality of this system so much, I’m rewatching all my favorite movies!

Outstanding TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent TV. Better than the Vizio I had originally planned to purchase at a local warehouse club. I wanted a bigger selection than what the club was offering & didn't want to order online (been burned by a broken bigscreen from the club, they returned, no issue, just a bad experience with shipping big screens vs local purchase). I looked at BestBuy online at my local club, did some TV research, and noticed free delivery to me. Couldn't have been faster or easier. Great service!

Q: Questionwhat is the difference between a 6 series a 7 series and a 8 series on samsung TV's ?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Basically, the 6300 series is the bargain value made tv. 4k but entry level quality and 120htz. The colors will be more flat and the blacks more grey. 7000 is a little better processed and a little better range in color. Still 120. 8000 had a still better color and black range. Also a 240htz refresh makes a difference in action or sports. The 9000 series or Q line is the best quality colors and blacks as well as contrast. However i think the 9000 or Q series is mich to expensive at the $3-5000 range to justify this color improvement. Honestly they all look good but the 8000 series is the sweet spot of excellent picture but not outrages price. Unless you are just looking for cheapest 4k, then the 6300 is fine, just not the the best range of color or refresh that most movie buffs would like.

Q: QuestionDo you have to use the One Connect box or can you connect directly to the TV with and HDMI?
Asked by Drew.
- A:Answer I would highly recommend against buying any Samsung TV that uses one connect. It’s extremely inelegant, it’s another component that can (and judging by my own current experience of it failing 18 months into ownership, as well as countless others if you care to search) and likely will fail and Samsung will be of little to no support. My Samsung Q6 is less than two years old and I was told by Samsung themselves “sorry we don’t make that part anymore” in regards to my failed one connect box so I have a useless, costly brick attached to my wall now. I implore anyone considering a Samsung, buy an extended warranty or better yet speak with your wallet and buy from a company that stands behind their products and that makes reliable product to begin with.

Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between this TV (UN65MU8000) and it's predecessor (UN65KU8000)? In a side by side comparison, they're exactly the same, except the former model is less expensive by $300.
Asked by Ahollowbox.
- A:Answer Nothing. It's basically the same TV just newer production date. I purchased the UN65KS and put my savings towards a nice set of 4K cables and dinner.

Q: QuestionAt Beat buy it is listed as an 8000 at Costco it is listed as an 800D everything else is the same What makes these two numbers different?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The difference is that certain model numbers are only sold at Costco and certain model numbers are only sold at Best Buy. This way when you see an advertised price that is lower they will tell you that it is a different model number and therefore do not have to match or beat a lower price.

Q: Questionwhat is the difference between un65mu8000 and un65mu9000
Asked by Edward.
- A:Answer The LED and screen is different. Reading the specs, the 9000 is better, but when I went to the store, the 8000 was a better pick for me...because I get a lot of sunlight in my living room, and the 8000 screen has less glare. The 9000 reflects like glass, and the 8000 reflects more like plastic. Love the 8000!

Q: Questionis there a difference between the 8000fxza and 800dfxza??
Asked by lovesamsung.
- A:Answer I found a site online that said the "D" designates wholesale clubs like Sam's and Costco and they also specifically drop the extra zero, it's the same TV and they do the same thing with several models.
