We currently own three VIZIO sound bars, the 4.1 being our 3rd. (Disclosure: We received it for review.) The model SB3241n-H6 has a smaller footprint than our others which was perfect for the basement viewing area where we were installing it. The area contains a futon-style couch which is low to the ground and lacks any kind of end table. Since the subwoofer is wireless, we were able to position it underneath the center of the couch then add the compact surround speakers alongside the rear legs. 

With respect to the sound itself, we were able to make adjustments to fit our tastes (all about that bass, right?) to give action movies for a more immersive experience. The remote made sound adjustments a snap. 

This sound bar system obviously also includes a front sound bar. It fit nicely in front of the TV without being intrusive or blocking the view. Setup was quick and easy since the type of wall (basement drywall with a water sealant that we didn't want to puncture) prevented us from mounting it. However, the system comes with brackets for mounting which we've done with ease for our other VIZIO sound bars. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Compact Product but Not Compact Sound

Once I figured out the volume control settings for my satellite remote, I love the VIZIO 32" 4.1 Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer. You don't have to worry about programming codes on your universal remote. You just train your sound bar to recognize the remote. It comes with pre-set equalizer settings but you can adjust those with base and treble settings as well. It came with ALL possible cables to attach to your tv. Even the HDMI arch cable. The surround satellite speakers attach to the subwoofer and have extra long wires. Read the directions carefully for proper speaker placement though. Mine aren't quite right but works for now.

Just what I wanted

Love it! Worth every Penny!!! Loud!! Amazing Sound Quality! Easy to Set up and comes with all Wires needed to Install and it has all kinds of way to plug into TV from Bluetooth, Optical Sound, Audio Cables, HDMI (Arc) and USB. You can also Plug in any Voice Assistant like Alexa or Google Home. Plus the Remote has a LCD Screen! This is Genius!

My college-age son has an HD television but the sound on it is awful, so he very happily installed and plugged in this Vizio 4.1 soundbar. His review: "Awesome!" Turns out that having front center, rear left, rear right and the subwoofer is plenty enough for immersive and highly enjoyable sound. Great Soundbar for Smaller Rooms!

Vizio has cheapened it's 2020 line up which is a shame as they are my favorite sound bar company.  I have a 5.1 Vizio system that I got on black friday two years ago for $99. It's a great sound system but the subwoofer speaker started getting a cracking sound with certain low frequencies. Hence this purchase. The size of the sound bar is the same size but only two speakers and no center with this system. The subwoofer enclosure however is quite a bit smaller and looking at the subwoofer speaker, even though it's 5 inches it looks smaller than my two year old system and looks like a cheaper speaker as well. See pic. The surround speakers are also smaller too.

Sound wise it is a nice sounding system but I think it is missing some low and mid frequencies that my last system had. The bass is not as thumping and with an even cheaper sub speaker who knows how long it will last.  I have a Vizio 2.1 in the bedroom and it has more thumping bass than this one.   I don't mind the missing center speaker that much as I actually prefer dialogue coming out in stereo rather than one center speaker. The remote is an improvement. The LCD is backlit and you can finally see it in the dark. Easy to control. 

All in all it's still a nice sounding system for the price of $129 that I paid for it but I prefer to see Vizio upgrade their sound bars instead of downgrading them.
