I changed out some of the pens that came with this. But the pens work fine. They're like any other pen.  I put sharpies in the top of it too. But they don't come with it, nothing sits up there except for the handle.  If you would rather use this for sharpies instead of pens, you can put sharpies in it too. Normal sharpies fit.  It's not battery operated, so it doesn't spin on its own but as you can see in one of the pictures, I took the picture while it was spinning and it does spin. But it is pretty loud, it's definitely not something that's quiet.  And it's not only for kids either. Adults can use it too. It comes in handy and saves space.  I honestly recommend this.

These are my favorite brand and type of gel pens. I'm a self-admitted office/school supply fanatic.  The multiple different colors is what made me take a better look. There are a few colors I haven't seen (or owned) before.   There aren't 24 different colors as I expected because there are multiple pens of the colors most frequently used: black (4), blue (2), purple (3), red (2), pink (2), and so on.  I do use these for writing and coloring in adult coloring books so that made them a great choice for me.  The fact that the storage spinner comes with it, is a bonus; however, it does take up around 6" of space on my already small area.  The pens write very smooth and the ink dries fast compared to other brands.  Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, grateful for the low price, and will buy again when the ink runs out.

The pen set from Bic is such an amazing gift! For a pretty affordable price for what it is, my daughter had the biggest smile on her face! Gel-ocity Gel Pen Spinner is a must have for any child, and I actually liked using it as well!

Love the 24 colors.  Will be a great addition to my coloring and Spirograph collection.  The turntable is a big plus, makes finding the right color super simple.  For me, a great investment!

These are the best pens I've ever used. So perfect!

Very nice pens, I always buy these because they don't bleed through but the only downside is that it only has 16 different colors, I would have liked the 24 pens to be different colors not repeated ones.

The ink colors are really attractive, and they write really well. The only criticism is that the ink bleeds through a tad more than the Papermate Ink Joy pens I was using before this pack. Both pens are 0.7 mm, so the extra bleed is not a result of a thicker point. The compensating factor is that these pens feel slightly smoother than the Ink Joy.

The spinning pen holder is nice and sturdy. However, there are only 16 different pens. That is not specified anywhere on the box which is good for marketing and sales, but bad if you want costumers to actually trust the products.  In addition,  the pens are okay quality. Not good, not bad, just okay. The ink goes out frequently and it's annoying. Thankfully I got these on sale, but it was barely worth the price.

I bought 3 of these. Only one of them came with the part that makes it spin. I was disappointed but didn't want to go through the trouble of returning the two that did not work. The pens are great. Just the display does not spin as advertised.
