This iron giant is pretty rad. Brings back a lot of memories of when I was a kid. He looks just like the movie characters and sounds just like him too. He moves but it's not really a walk. It's more of a glide. His arms move a little bit and he lights up and makes noise just as it says. He is entertaining for myself and my kids. So far he has held up pretty well through some rough play without any issues.

The kids are getting this for Christmas and they are going to love it! My husband and I had to sneak into a room where they couldn't see/hear us for us to check this out.

The sounds sound "real" not "cheap toyish" if that makes sense. That is, it sounds like a huge sci-fi robot, but in an appropriate toy volume. 

It moves smoothly when it is "walking" and all the lights come on at the right time to make this toy seem real. 

I cannot wait for them to open this! We're going to prepare them by borrowing some Iron Giant books and whatnot to read from the library between now and Christmas.

I recommend this. Once the kids open this, it will get played with every day, I am sure.

Very excited about The Iron Giant.  Pleased with the larger size and the fine detail of the figure.  You could pose this guy and make a stop-motion video short with this model. I am impressed with the sounds and lights.

This is an awesome toy! If you haven't seen one of these in person, they are so tall! My boys love the Iron Giant Light & Sound Walking Robot Toy; it makes sounds, moves, and flashes lights. 

It is fun for my 7 and 9 year olds, and I also catch my 12 year old playing with it occasionally. 

This has been a great addition to our family toy stash.

Super Cool Toy

What a great toy!! Kids absolutely love it, it walks lights up and absolute enjoyment for the kids. There is no price you can pay to see the look on these kids faces walking along side and waiting for it to walk up to them with his illuminated face while he's walking!!

Giant fun

My son loves this toy. There are 2 different modes, walking with sound or just sound. After my son played with it for a bit I noticed it's chest opens up for more features. It doesn't walk to well on thick carpet so my kids play with it in the kitchen.

Great toy!! My son LOVES it!! Plenty of entertainment and not excessively heavy. It walks, talks, eyes light up and chest opens up. The only improvement I could suggest would be to include the movie with the toy! Too cool! My inner child might be a little jealous, because honestly, what kid didn't dream about having their very own robot!

This is such a cool toy! And I am so glad my kids have both enjoyed this. My 8 year old and my 4 year old have fun together playing with him and watching him "walk", which is smooth and looks cool.
The suggested age on the box says 3+ since small parts could potentially break off and become a choking hazard. This iron giant requires 4 AA batteries, which are included so you can play right away, but I feel like the batteries that a toy comes with just don't always last very long. The bottom of the box it comes in has pictures and directions on how to put in and replace the batteries. It is really fun how his eyes light up and he became our Halloween mascot on the table since he's "so cool and kind of creepy" lol! His chest opens up and his eyes turn red instead of green. The on switch is right on the front in the "belt" area. I think this Iron Giant would make a great Christmas or birthday gift. It's been a favorite of my kiddos and has kept them consistently entertained. I would honestly recommend it.

My kids have love him!

The Iron Giant they were selling this roughly around $20 so I decided to go ahead and purchase it and I found the quality and the way that it may sound effects as well as walking to be well worth the price.

Durability in the way that it was built you cant go wrong with this now for the price. If you are a sci-fi buff you'll love this piece. 

I thoroughly enjoyed it along with the other robot that they sell which is Robbie the robot for about the same price and I picked these up real quick because I am into giant monsters, robots or anything sci-fi related these are great finds for a great price.

This is a great little robot!

So disappointed! My kids got iron giant for christmas and immediately fell in love with him! He worked great for a whole day. It's December 26th and he stopped walking and only makes a clicking noise now. Something inside his legs that makes him walk broke after 1 day. I made sure my kids knew to play gently with him (they're 8 and 4) and they always did. My kids are so sad their iron giant stopped walking.
