Chewbacca! What a Wookiee!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. That's our nickname for this beast. Does its job keeping stuff nice and cool. Looks beautiful, too. Nice design. Stainless Steel is gorgeous and matches our other stainless steel appliances which is very nice. Ability to place the door opening on either the right or left side. Nice cool white LED light in the fridge. Lots of interior space. Only issue is it is REALLY NOISY. It sounds like a Wookiee is trapped in the condenser. Also the freezer door makes this suction noise when you open it. It's just the insulating rubber trim, but noticeable. 4 stars. Got it for a killer price though. And, it's intended to be a cheap, yet functional and nice looking fridge so I guess the manufacturer had to make concessions somewhere. Their concession here was definitely the noise. Because everything else about it is visually appealing and functional. The noise may be a deal breaker for some though. Especially if you live in a small place. Fortunately there is enough distance between my bedroom and the kitchen that I don't hear it when I'm trying to sleep. If I did, I'd prolly end up returning it even though I got it at a killer price. One note about the delivery. We ordered this and a washing machine for our new place on May 25th and scheduled delivery for June 11th. Geek Squad made no contact the day before or day of scheduled delivery and ultimately didn't show up. I called on the 12th asking what was going on. They said they couldn't deliver for another 3 weeks on July 1st. My wife and I were livid since we were pretty much camping in our house without these two appliances and trying to feed and keep us and 3 kids clean. Best Buy did the right thing and compensated us for the major inconvenience of a 3 weeks late large appliance delivery. I was at work the day they actually delivered, but my wife said the delivery guys were nice and professional. They called the day before and day of delivery to make sure someone would be here when they arrived.

Great fridge for great price.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Searched for awhile to replace a very old fridge in my basement. After much time I decided on the Insignia one for it's best overall value. It was the size I was looking for, had glass shelves & was energy efficient. Have had the fridge for about 1 month now & so far so good. It keeps things nice & cold & runs fairly quiet.

INSIGNIA Stainless steel refrigerator
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far works great!! It's quiet and the refrigerator keeps everything cold and the freezer has more room than I expected. After shopping around for other refrigerators we settled on this and for the price you can't go wrong. Very satisfied with the look stainless steel and performance so far.

Love it!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very skeptical about this refrigerator but after exhaustive research, I had to made a decision. I actually love this refrigerator. I feel like I have more space than my previous refrigerator and I bought the organizing bins from Amazon which work great. It’s also quiet. Fingers crossed that it lasts a few years! If you are still reading, don’t put an inexpensive refrigerator in the garage and expect it to perform flawlessly. Refrigerators are not “garage ready” units.

Great little fridge!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great little fridge. Replacement for a 15 year old I bought used for a porch refrigerator. Price was great compared to other box stores. I put 4 wire baskets in the freezer so I can pack it without things falling out when I look for something. Over 1 year and very cold. No troubles.

Nice bridge if it wasn't such a whiner haha
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The fridge looks nice and it works very well everything stays cold there's plenty of space. The only thing that's strange is I hear it moaning.... like making some kind of noise I don't know if it's a fan or motor running but it sounds like it's crying or moaning hahaha I literally thought maybe there was a animal trapped between my wall or something behind the fridge until I realized it's actually coming from the fridge. I just hope that sound doesn't mean it's going to break. I've only had it for about a month and its always made that noise.as long as it doesn't break I'm okay if it cries are moans every once in awhile haha. It works good.

a Very Stylish Insignia
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Insignia 18 cu ft, stainless steel, energy star certified, top freezer refrigerator, is remarkable quality, for the price. The refrigerator and freezer reached cold very quickly, it also operates very quietly. I like the glass shelves inside the fridge, and the numerous storage compartments on the door. I also like how it is 18 cu ft and fits perfectly into a rather compact area.

Great Fridge
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We needed a top freezer option because of our kithen size. This fridge matched the electric stove. Pros- space saver. Good for 2nd fridge or small family. Cons- can not adjust bottom shelves on fridge door and shelves on freezer door are too small . We purchased clear fridge drawers and containers to keep things organized.

Q: Questionwhy is our new insignia refrigerator making noises that sound like air is leaking? it doesn’t do it all the time and it’s a fairly faint sound.
Asked by gunner.
- A:Answer Have the same issue, our Insigna new fridge is making many diffrent sounds like "animals screaming". CAN the manufacturer explain why???
Answered by DStop
Q: QuestionOne of the reviewer's mentioned that the exterior sides of the fridge were warm, even hot. Is this normal?
Asked by Curious.
- A:Answer I am experiencing very hot sides as well. I think because there is no fan moving the heat about the back near the coil. I am starting to notice the ice on bags turns to water very quickly too.

Q: QuestionIs buzzing/rattling a normal running sound with this refrigerator? It’s not loud, but I can hear it from the next room when the house is quiet.
Asked by Rr08.
- A:Answer Mine is also making a groaning or rumbling noise when the motor is running. I've had the refrigerator nearly a month now and had hoped that the noises would "go away", but they haven't.

Q: QuestionDoes this model have auto reset? Meaning that if it’s plugged in and the power goes out do you have to unplug it and plug it back in or does it come back on automatically? I live in Florida and outages are common
Asked by Wes.
- A:Answer Wes: The refrigerator will resume operation without any action on your part when the power comes back on. However, the refrigerator resets to the factory settings when the power resumes. So, if you had the refrigerator set at a colder (or warmer) setting than the factory setting, you will need to reset it to your chosen setting when the power comes back on.
