Average Flatiron

I got this in place of my KQC Beauty X Heat thinking since it has such rave reviews it might be a decent competitor. The GHD Platinum+ is just average. Not terrible, not the best on the market either. It's pretty heavy compared to other irons I've used also. I'm keeping it because I don't want to go through returning it and not having one for a few days. I do have to go over my hair twice, and I have fine hair.

Not sure they’re as good as my last pair

I’ve had a pair of platinum straighteners for about 8 years when they stopped working and according to the website are not fixable. So I invested in a new pair but so far I’m not sure about them - they don’t feel smooth in my hair and feel like they’re catching as I run them thru my hair. I’ll persevere but so far not as happy as I was with my old pair.

A smooth finish

This is an amazing straightener. It smooths my hair so beautifully and is not o oh gentle on my coloured hair but also gentle enough to use in my daughters hair.
