Does the lab fee cover the health testing too or is that separate?

Hi Patti - Our Ancestry Composition report will tell you what percent of your DNA comes from each of 45 populations worldwide. The analysis includes DNA you received from all of your ancestors, on both sides of your family. The results reflect where your ancestors lived 500 years ago, before the advent of intercontinental travel. The reference populations in Ancestry Composition refer to genetically similar groups, rather than nationalities. You can find a full list of reference populations on the 23andMe Help Center.

You are getting this at a sale price which is awesome. It was delivered in a timely manner. Instructions were easy, easy to register and send. However, mine had the lab location in Arizona and it was rerouted and shipped to North Carolina which made it take longer. I'm just waiting on the results from the lab.

So easy to use and the results came in half the time they said they were going to. The app also updates you on your ancestries, family tree if you opt in on it, and provides unlimited educational resources. I really recommend for everyone! Especially those who were confused of their ancestors and the race of a parent.

i was waiting on ny reaults and they finally came in. overall it was very interesting and i believe i waited a little over a month from the moment i mailed in my saliva kit. highly reccomend!

This was fun and interesting to learn about my DNA health rates and distant relatives. I did not like having to pay an additional $70 for a 23%26me  since I feel like that’s why we pay higher amount for the health traits kit. It doesn’t seem right to withhold some of the health traits for more money.

Interesting results!

This test is not worth the money. It only linked me is with 2nd and 3rd cousins but no close relatives. In order to get 1st and 2nd relatives I have to pay another $69.00.   It gave me very limited medical information.  And it would not link you to a relative that used another company like ancestry to match DNA relatives.  I would definitely go with another company.  For me it was not worth it.

Disappointed

So far all ive done is taken quizzes basically just telling them what to put in my "results". Results are delayed

For $80 we got the bare minimum of ancestry and in order to get any health information you have to buy extra packages. You also are not allowed your raw DNA data. MyHeritage works MUCH better for $40.

Rip-off

Did not like the SVC. I ordered one kit, rec'd 2.  One needs to b returned so that I can get a refund. NO one is responding to help. I do not have over $100 to just throw around. I need to return the second kit now. Thank you!

There was a data breach in Oct ‘23 and hackers have access to personal data (name, address etc.) that can be used to target individuals based on heritage, ethnicity, health issues.  Since this product is not sold by Walmart, returns are not possible.  As stated by the company to me, “ There are no returns on the product you purchased.” I would really reconsider buying this item especially from this vendor.
