I've been buying Almay eye shadow for years. I love their color combos for different colored eyes.

I liked the product, however it appeared old due to the packaging. The packaging was yellowed and not sealed shut.

Item arrived way ahead of estimate but the wrong color pallet was sent. First photo is what I ordered second is what I received

Good shipping time but wrong item sent

I loved my old Almay Intense i-Color Shimmer-i Trio Powder Shadow Kit for Browns, and when it ran out, I bought this one as it was all that was available. The one for Browns was WAY TOO DARK for my fair complexion (even though I have dark brown hair and eyes). The shadow colors in the one for Blues looked more similar to the colors in the old kit, so that's what I'm using now, but I don't really like it. I wish they hadn't changed the kit colors. I'm bummed.

Browns kit is too dark

Though I bought the pallet for blue eyes because it had warm pink tones, once it's applied it looks very grey and cool toned because of the heavy amount of shimmer.
Also, what little color pigment there is, it fades quickly and just leaves the silvery shimmer behind. This really is not the quality I expected from Almay.

Way too sparkly! not enough color pigment!

Application brush is ridiculously small and so hard to use. Threw the whole thing away because I couldn't make it work for me

They send the wrong color and the applicator isn't good.

The colors in this set are nice however, the round compact design leaves much to be desired.  The applicator is curved and is awkward to use to apply the eyeshadow.  I would not purchase this again.
