About

FAITH NO MORE IN CONCERT:

Following a ten-year hiatus, hard-hitting funk rockers Faith No More returned in 2015 with a new album and the same captivating and dynamic live performances that made them a household name. Pitched halfway between alternative metal and straight-up funk, the band always gets heads banging and booties shaking at their live shows. Lead singer Mike Patton has all the crooning chops of a classic balladeer, but he sings with a punk rock edge that makes his angst-ridden vocals undeniably infectious. While he runs and jumps around the stage, the rest of the band gets down to the groove on hits like “Epic” and “We Care a Lot”. As the band hits the road in 2015 in support of their first new album in almost 18 years, ticket buyers can expect all of Faith No More’s classics as well as new material off Sol Invictus.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Faith No More began in San Francisco in 1981 when founding members Roddy Bottum (keyboards), Billy Gould (bass), and Mike Bordin (drums) broke away from their previous band. Vocalist Chuck Mosley joined in 1983 and sang on the 1985 hit “We Care a Lot”, but the group didn’t truly take off until singer Mike Patton replaced Mosley. The band's 1989 breakthrough album The Real Thing included the top 10 hit “Epic”, which was nominated for a Grammy Award and received heavy airplay on MTV. The band released three more albums before announcing a hiatus in 1998 to focus on other projects. Rumblings of a reformation began when Faith No More played some one-off shows in England in 2009, though the group dismissed the prospect of recording new material. Following a full-fledged reunion tour, though, Faith No More thrilled fans with the announcement that they would release their seventh album Sol Invictus in 2015.

    by Strngr4 on 1/9/24

Faith No More Show at Red Rocks was in top 5 shows for me of all time. I am 57 years old and I’ve seen the best in their hay days, all the way back to the seventies. One of the most talented, underrated bands of all time!?!?

I've loved them since 1989 in London...

    by OregongirlinLondon on 6/21/21

I couldn't see them live I was busy being a single mom in Oregon but finally last year just before the pandemic I got tickets for my son and I to go here in Phoenix where I live now. Then Covid...it wiped out my one chance to finally see them in person along with my 30 year long career, so I can't buy tickets for L.A. And I don't have the same debit card so if I got a refund, then evil Wells Fargo has it... I will have to continue to love them from afar.....

One of the best shows I've been to!

by Emayan on 10/21/18Theater at MSG - NYC

They started with "The Real Thing", after that you knew it was going to be a fun night! Decided to not even bother with taking pics/vids, but just sing along and enjoy it. Hopefully they come back around again, if so I'm there!!

Faith no more, put on a good show. I liked the flowery stage design. The sound was good. A nice, friendly venue.

    Mike Patton was awesome!

    by Reedus22 on 10/15/15Masquerade - Atlanta

This was an outdoor event in Atlanta in August. It was pretty hot. However, the concert was great. Mike Patton has an awesome voice. I was standing towards the back of the field and could hear and see everything just fine. I would definitely go back to this venue if I'm in town.

Awesome show, minus no seats and humidity!

by SarcoKentaurus on 9/4/15Masquerade - Atlanta

Faith No More was awesome and Refused put on a good show with their energy. The drummer was off a lot, though, and didn't even know one of the songs in the set list. FNM was everything I hoped for and more! Only complaint about them was that they didn't play 2-3 songs I knew pretty good...good stage show and Patton had me in tears at times with his craziness! lmfao Check them out and you won't be disappointed!

Great show, the band do make an effort to make an unforgattable concert! First at all the crowd seemed very shy, but along the show people woke up and was a great audience too.
