The guys were nice the food was disgusting. We sent it back (still charged), the meat balls had white rubbery veins in them and were sat on cold lumpy pureed potatoes.

A delightful meal with generous portions cooked to perfection - highly recommend the Sea Bass. Located in a narrow pedestrian street away from the main hustle of the port. Friendly attentive staff and good value
I have never met such a bad service as in Greece. Do you really expect to be tiped for Your „service”? All 3 guys were very disrespectful, didnt answer the questions and ignore our table. Waiting for food over 80 minutes. People who came after...us and ordered the same thing got their food before us. So they just simply forgot about us. And that would be okey if they say so. But No - they will denay and make you looks like a fool. In the end they said it took so long, because gyros was rolling - like do you really think we haven’t got gyros in other restaurants and know how long it takes? Food wasn’t worth the waiting. It was just like from any other cheaper place.More
This really is the place to stop and take in the beauty of the surroundings- and enjoy lovely food . Our Greek Salad , spinach pie and spaghetti bolognese were tasty and generous portions. surprisingly affordable for such a premium spot !
Food was tasty, good location. Felt the 39 Euro platter we shared between us was overpriced for what it was. We came during a rain storm and had to move tables, the waiters were friendly and helpful but very quick to point out service was...not included.More
We stumbled across this lovely traditional taverna whilst we were exploring the many wonderful streets of Corfu town. The guy who I’m assuming is the owner of the family-run restaurant persuaded us to have our lunch here. We were shown to a lovely table across...from the restaurant which was great for people watching, and handed an extensive menu. We ordered some local house wine and received two HUGE glasses of refreshing white wine. The owner came over to us again and spoke to us about some of the items on the menu and gave us some recommendations, which we were grateful for. I should also add that all the staff were wearing face masks and were very compliant with COVID guidelines. There were hand sanitisers placed on each table for our use. We decided to order some pork gyros as we were craving them all day, as well as some fried calamari & tzatziki. We were so happy that we didn’t have to wait long for our food as it came out of the kitchen within 15 minutes. Delivered to our table were two plates of beautifully seasoned slices of pork, fluffy pita bread, lovely salted chips & bits of salad, as well as a generous helping of tzatziki and a huge pile of freshly fried calamari. Everything was extremely tasty, and we loved making our own gyros and putting everything together. It was safe to say we ate every last bit! Thank you for a wonderful experience & the next time we are in Corfu we will surely be back!More
One small restaurant in the heart of the old town good food and nice service excellent job congratulations ....
The service was very good, the waiters were very friendly and helpful. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews, it's a downtown restaurant on the beaten path, tips are never included, if you don't want too much food don't order it. A good...spot to watch the world go by. Pictures are the Greek Salad and the Moussaka.More
It is a tourist trap! Bad service, food nothing special and btw. In the end the waiter didn’t bother to let us know that the tip was not included... overall not a good experience!
This is a small restaurant located in a beautiful old building with seats outside. They serve mainly traditional Greek foods. I had the Sofrito which came with chips and rice! Pleasant service.
This restaurant is in a great location and things looked to be going well until we ordered beer, water and a gyros each but in the owners opinion was this was not enough as he asked if we like tzatziki to which we said yes...and he said "I'll bring you Greek salad too". We didn't need it as gyros came with salad and chips. It also had lettuce in the Greek salad to bulk it out I suppose but then it is just a salad with a bit of feta on it. The gyros were ok but not great. A young couple came in and wanted to share a gyros but he sent them up the road to "his other restaurant". This then erupted into a bit of a row between him and another guy who was something to do with the restaurant. Four guys also just wanted drinks who he also sent packing up the road. Another couple rowed over the bill as they were charged for the tzatziki which they thought was complimentary We asked for the bill which came to around 35€. I think you will find much nicer places in Corfu Town and better value. Don't get bullied into this place or order more food than you want or need.More
This is an old restaurant and has a good position in old town for people watching. Unfortunately they take advantage and sell you extra food you don’t need. We asked for a small dish of a few olives to go with the rather rough wine...and ended up with a large expensive plate of olives that they wouldn’t take back. I asked for just a salad to go with the gyros instead of fries and ended up with a full separate Greek salad and paying for it. They asked us if we liked tsatsiki and got a plate of that too. It was a bit of a con because the people on the next table were all asked individually ‘you like tsatsiki?’ And they were all given a plate of it each. The food was adequate, not great and the wine was rough and tasted watered down. We definitely wouldn’t go again. You obviously pay more for food in the old town than you would in the villages, but there are lots of better value restaurants in Corfu Old Town serving higher quality food.More
The food is nice, not a chef restaurant BUT, and there is a big but, the vibe here is amazing. I guess that you have to be a bit more mature for this place😀
Fabulous food & lovely, funny friendly staff. We chose for lunch a sharing starter platter & extra greek salad . Everything fresh , beautifully presented. Fresh basket of bread plenty for two for lunch We would highly recommend
Skalinda is housed in a landmark building built in 1672 and it’s a family business since 1842 passed down generations. The food was absolutely delicious and our waiter was so attentive and helpful. We would make a special trip to Corfu just to visit this...lovely cafe again.More
