The Iron gym total upper body workout bar is really easy to use. I put it together in less than 15 minutes. Fit in the upper part of the door area easily. Although I prefer using it on the floor. The exercises are easy to do and have an impact. I use it everyday, because it's easy to pull out and use wherever you are in the house. I'm very happy with this item and would recommend to others. Men and women can benefit from this item.

A great workout.

My arms and abs are so happy I got the Iron Gym Total Upper Body Workout Bar and so am I. This is a total upper body workout piece of equipment. I did place it in my bedroom door way but I don't have the upper body strength to do a pull up yet. However even with that being said I really like this workout bar. After I put it up in the door way I looped my stretch band around the bar and I was able to do some pull downs and some tricep kick backs. Then I took it down an placed it on the floor and did tricep dips without any problems. I also was able to do push ups and sit-ups with the workout bar. When I was finished I truly felt like I had been to the gym but without the wait time and the membership cost. My husband was able to do the pull ups and the Workout bar was stable and supported his weight without any problems. It was easy to put together,sturdy an it also doesn't require a lot of storage space. The Iron Gym Total Upper Body Workout Bar is a win, win, I wish I had gotten one sooner.

Just what I needed for my upper body workouts.

This workout bar is a great addition to a home workout routine. I have tried the suggested floor exercises with it, but mostly use the pull-up function to work my back. I love the convenience of being able to hang it in the doorway for my workout, then easily taking it right back down when I'm done. Note: if your interior walls are built with narrower that standard 2x4 studs (as most manufactured homes are), you'll need to somehow shim the door protectors on the gripping side in order for the bar to sit level and hang securely. I found that a couple of standard rolls of toilet paper work well for this. Overall, this is a great piece of equipment to add to your daily home workout.

Great for home workout!

This isn't just you're traditional pull-up bar! The same great pull-up bar you're used to now easily works for sit-ups, push-ups, dips and shoulder exercises! I love the workout, nutrition guide and personal trainer video that is included so that those wanting to lose weight, tone their upper body and get stronger know it isn't just about working out, but about nutrition and consistency also. I found the tips to be helpful. Assembling the workout bar was super simple and done in a matter of minutes without tools or even looking at the instructions. The bar fits right on the door and is ready to go anytime we are ready for a workout. The wall and door frame protectors, the rubber feet, foam grips, and steel frame and metallic finish are very nice upgrades to the old pull-up bars. I feel completely safe during my workout and the bar feels like it is made very well with quality materials, from a brand I feel like I can trust. Now we can tone our biceps, triceps, chest, back, shoulders and abs to our heart's content all with this with one piece of equipment, and all from the comfort of our home! I can't wait to order the Bonus mail-in ab straps and try them out.

Same Great Workout Bar LOTS of Great Improvement!!

The Iron Gym made by Conduc is very well made. It is a Xtreme Fitness product and certainly will, if used as instructed, build a ripped, strong, upper body. There are a lot of different ways to use the Iron Gym to workout. When attached to the top of the doorway it works for pull ups. It can be used on the floor to hold your feet down at the bottom of the doorway to do sit ups. It can be turned over and placed on the floor to do push ups as well as backward dips. The video that comes in the box has a very easy to follow trainer who demonstrates a full workout with the Iron Gym. The gym comes with professional grade foam grips, and rubber wall and door frame protectors to protect wherever it is used. It also has a platinum metallic paint finish to keep it looking good. I personally was not able to use the gym, but my grandson who is twenty really likes it. He had no trouble going through the exercises and was impressed with how quick he could tell it was building up his muscles. It attaches and removes from the door frame quickly and easily after each use. It leaves no marks on the wall or floor. For the money it is a very good product.

Easy Iron Gym for quick results.

I received this item for review from Walmart. The simplicity of this exercise tool intrigued me. Upon first opening, there were only 5 pieces. Assembly took only about 20 minutes with easy to follow direction. When putting this up in the doorway, one needs to consider a few things. First, the width is approximately 37 inches across (It is best used for 34" door way or less). Second, the cross bar ends will touch the door trim. While it is padded, I don't think that's enough. It is easy to see that after using it awhile, you could damage the door trim. I would suggest not putting it in a doorway with nice door trims, and consider using extra padding in between (e.g. towel, foam, sock). Third, and I know this should be obvious...but you cannot close the door when this is installed. (again, consider the location and traffic when installing this). With all that said, it does a good job for pull ups and chin ups. IT is also suppose to help you do push ups and dips (on the ground). But I found it too cumbersome to remove each time so I leave it up. Besides, the bar is a little too low for effective dips. All in all, for the price listed on the web, it's a great exercise tool. I would recommend it to a friend with the above precautions.

Great exercise tool with a few precautions

I received the Iron Gym total body workout bar in exchange for an honest review. I was particularly interested in this bar to do pull ups as I had a previous shoulder injury and lost muscle mass and really wanted to build strength back up. I was pleased with how heavy duty it seemed and how easy it was to put together. However, as soon as I tried to attach to my doorway, I realized it wasn't going to work. With my door width (34”) and wide moldings the only way I could hang from door frame was backwards (see photo) where the rubber backed mounting bar was on the same side as I would be which would not be sturdy at all, certainly not to put all my weight on. 
 Ideally, your door frame should be no more than 32” (upon reading booklet, it states it is made for doors 24-32” wide). Needless to say, I was disappointed. It is still useful for push ups and sit ups and dips if you're interested in that. 
 They do mention in the booklet an “extended long bar” available for doorways 34-38” however with my wide moldings I still don't think it will work as the height of moldings (5-1/2”) and angle of the bar attaching over and down the moldings on the back side of door then crossing through door way the middle handles would hit the door frame. (I'm guessing no more than 2-1/2” wide moldings would work)
 I think it is a heavy duty workout bar that could be very useful given the right door size. I just wish they would have stated door sizes needed in title description.

Seems Good for the right size Door Frame

The Iron Gym Total Upper Body Workout Bar is a piece of workout equipment that can be used for pull-ups, sit-ups, push-ups, and dips. Putting the bar together was quite simple. Though there are written instructions on where to put things and what goes with what, the bar came with a diagram that was very helpful. It was far more simple than expected, so a whole list of instructions wasn't even necessary. It also comes with basic work out plan! After assembling, I did notice that the bar was slightly crooked, but it would seem it is just slightly faulty. However, I don't think it is crooked or off enough to make any big difference at all. The bar is supposed to go in a doorway where there is a hook that can be placed above the frame that allows the bar to be easily attached and detached. There are no drills or tools involved at all apart from what is provided! It's very easy and very quick. I did notice though, that the bar does not fit in every hall. It will fit in door frames 24 inches to 32 inches wide, but some halls can go right up to the frame, and the bars stick out past the frame. Since that bars spread out, pressing against the frame for support, it is also difficult to use those certain foam grips for pull-ups if the doorway is a little more narrow, as they are a little obscured. The foam is a little thin, so I would recommend wearing workout gloves when doing any pull-ups. Using the bar for push-ups, sit-ups, and dips is very easy and effective. The overall look of the bar is very sleek, and I'm happy to see that so far there isn't any damage done to the door frame that it is on. For such a simple, easily maneuvered piece of equipment, I think the iron gym gives a lot of bang for your buck!

Great bang for your buck!

I really like this Iron gym it's very sturdy and I like that it has different grips in different positions. The grips do have a strong chemical smell so I'm airing this out in the garage.The assembly took one person to put it together in about 15 minutes. All tools and hardware is included. I like that it has a rubber wall protector and rubberized door frame protectors so none of the wood in my door frame will be marred.This comes with a workout plan and steps for success, exercises, nutrition guide and food choices.This bar fits standard door frames sizes 24" to 32" wide if you need an extended bar for a wider doorway you can order it through the company.This is not designed for permanent installation.Maximum weight for use on this bar is 300 pounds.You can use this to do pull ups,push-ups,sit-ups and dips.

Great workout Tool

Pretty easy to assemble. This is not for everyone and the one size fits all rule does not apply. Tried to install at different door frame locations and had problems at almost every place. A few things to note, make sure the door frame is a standard size frame. Also to support your weight the wood frame needs to be in good condition (mold and damaged free). The weight limit says up to 300lbs but I personally think that is a stretch. I weigh 250 and when I used it I did not fell comfortable doing the door pull ups. It just did not seem steardy or secure enough for me to do a full workout. My 21 year old son use it for the pull ups and he is 125lbs and has no problems using this. Since the pull up workout was a bit challenging  for me I use it mainly for the pushups, it works really great for that. As far as the dip goes I dont feel like I am geting enough motion when doing them. The main benefit for this iron gym was the pull ups but unfortunately it did not workout in my favor, but maybe for someone at 200lbs or less, and a newer home or apartment.
