Q: Can the regular dvd movies play on the 4 K DVD players
A: Yes, of course. 4 K DVD players play anything, DVDs, Blue Ray Discs, 4K videos, even music CDs.
Q: WHAT Streaming Services are available?
A: This model doesn't feature streaming. If you want streaming you want the UBK90 which is identical but has streaming.
A: Should the unit need updated, this would be performed via the ethernet internet connection. ^CP
Q: How do I hook this up to a old school rca cable? I have a integrated amp .
A: Hello, this unit only has HDMI and digital optical audio ports. ^AC
A: I wish it had a setting to disable upscaling by default, but it doesn't (at least I can't find such a setting). You can manually force it though, by changing the output from Auto to 1080p at 24 Hz.
Q: Can this unit play multiregion DVDs? For example, DVDs from Hong Kong, the UK, and other countries?
A: No, this player is not multi regional. It can only play region 1 dvds and region A or region free blu rays. 4k blu rays are all region free so those discs are the only ones that can be played from other countries.
Q: Can I connect my IPhone to this DVD player to watch a video on my TV?
A: An IPhone is not able to connect to the UBK80 to play videos. The UBK80 is compatible with Android devices. ^CP
A: It comes with a power cable. You’ll need an hdmi cable which I recommend one that can handle 4K for a clear picture. I like rocket fish. Tad pricey but worth it.
