The iconic Dewar's White Label is a timeless Scotch whisky that tastes as full and round today as it did over a century ago when it was created by our first Master Blender, A.J. Cameron. Dewar's White Label contains around 40 of Scotland’s finest single malts, with Aberfeldy at its heart. It is rich, golden and mellow throughout.
A swirl of honey, with a sprig of Scottish heather. Rich, golden, and warm. Clean, fresh vanilla, with a slice of pear. Soft, fruity, and well-rounded. A subtle sweetness, with a curl of smoke. Full, balanced, and satisfying.
Founded in 1846 by John Dewar, Dewar's has grown from a small wine and spirits merchant shop in Scotland, to one of the largest Scotch whisky brands in the world. Best known for its iconic Dewar's White Label, it has expanded its family to create a portfolio of premium and super premium whiskies including Dewar's 12 Year Old, Dewar's 15 Year Old, Dewar's 18 Year Old, the exclusive Dewar's Signature and most recently Dewar's Scratched Cask. These whiskies are crafted using the Dewar's oak marrying ageing process. Pioneered by Dewar's in 1899, it involves returning the hand-crafted blend to vintage oak casks for further maturation. The result is a smoother taste with a long, lingering finish; a taste that wins medals and applause, making Dewar's the world's most awarded blended Scotch.
Originally created as a lighter alternative to Single Malts to appeal to the Americans during Prohibition, Blended Scotch Whiskies are a mix of both grain and malt whiskies that have been sourced from multiple distilleries and aged a minimum of three years in oak barrels. Nine out of every ten bottles of Scotch sold is a Blended Scotch Whisky and they are generally far more affordable than Single Malt Scotch Whiskies.
