What is it that makes this an 8-inch press? I bought the same size of another manufacturer's and I still can't find anything that measures 8 inches.

Perfect for my smaller projects

Exactly what I needed for my project. Fairly Easy  to assemble.   Directions could have been better they really were difficult to figure out.

It's easy to assemble and easy to maneuver clamps and height adjustments.  Could use an instruction book and better assembly diagrams.

Works great

for a hobbyisf drill it's  great.    So far it works very welI I am using it for plastic ,wood and soft metals.
How reliable it is time will tell.

Small project drill press

Drill press works OK.  I need to order some parts but cannot figure out where  I  go on the website to do that.  Poor assembly instructions and schematic.

Was able to get it to lock up here and there while using a big, flat hole drilling bit into relatively thick wood.

Lacks power for hard jobs.

Lots of vibrations from this drill press,  wobble from the spindle right out of the box. The chuck is as far as it will go on, checked that first.

Noticed a little wobble when using my hole saws with it. didn't think much of it until this weekend when the hole saw bit into the wood and broke the chuck off, also trashed the saw and mandrel. needless to say, I can't use it anymore, so I'll be going with something a bit more sturdy next time

Very very noisy when I am running it. Just stop when I drill 2 small hole... Need to improve this product. Thank you
