I am glad to see that atari is coming back with a new console. Atari made a big impact on a alot of childhoods. I have seen a lot of hate towards this new system, but I am not letting that change my opinion of the system. I hope that this will lead into more systems being made by Atari.

Haters will hate

Why $300 , because it's not only an Atari machine, Its a full blown PC that can emulate anything and PLAY PC GAMES ON THE TV.  ITS AN OPEN CONSOLE PEOPLE!

Can't wait to see the surprise titles that'll arise from an open platform; as well as play the classics on a modern-spec system, outperforming every other 'retro' offering.

You can not build a better mini PC at this price and comparing it to a console sold at a loss is ridiculous. Atari delivered on everything they promised.

People hate just to hate

This game system is absolutely incredible. The UI is stunning, simple, smooth and very easy to navigate. I played a few of the Atari pre loaded games as well as played around in the sandbox playing Steam games. They are fun, simple, back to basics games that everyone can play! The controllers are very comfortable to hold and built with quality. The Atari engineers really knocked it out of the park and I think this machine will surprise a lot of people and prove a lot of the haters wrong!

Atari is Back Baby!

I love the Linux platform! I love classic Atari games!  I love that Atari is back! At least give this system a chance before leaving any negative comment. The people who left a negative comment here didn't even buy this, so how would they know?  And why would anyone rate a machine they didn't even purchase?  That makes no sense people!  Give it a chance!  This new Atari system is going to be great!

An actual standardized *open* platform in your living room; a gaming PC at a fair price; with likely integration with Atari's other ventures. Should be a wild ride.

Very Psyched

This is the fist time there is on the market a console and PC in the same machine. The price of the games is 3 times cheaper than for PS5 or Xbox

Pc and Console

Before putting down money on this, do yourself a favor and check out the tons of youtube videos on this product and it's history. To me it would appear you are just getting a low end pc or raspberry pie level pc for an expensive price because its inside a plastic atari shell. Don't trust me, do your own research on it. I can be wrong, but I certainly won't be on the chump list.

DO THE RESEARCH!!!! So far they have not shown any exclusive games running on this thing. The best they have shown so far was Fortnite which being honest can run on a mobile device. (And may of been on the demonstration for all we know). So far all they have shown is a nice looking Atari case and Joystick. I personally doubt this thing will ever see the light of day. BUYERS BEWARE!!!
