Good meal for one
A tasty pizza for one, good quality toppings, just added a sprinkle of Parmesan and it was perfect!
About same calories as shop bought sandwich
Size and topping make this a great lunch option when home-working. The base is super thin and doesn’t bloat and the topping savoury and tasty. Big hit. I finished mine with my best oil and a dusting of Parmesan.
Delicious!
Thin, crisp crust with vibrant, fresh toppings. My favourite is the salami firenze. Whilst I am on a diet before Christmas hits, this is a lovely guilt-free indulgence that satisfies both taste and nutrition. I have mine with a nice, chopped Italian salad. Keep in mind this is a meal-for-one.
Favourite
I love this little pizza - its not too cheesy and just the right size for me - i have to say the kids are always hocked by its smallness so maybe not suitable for a hungry teenager ;-)
such a treat!
The best low calorie pizza youll ever have! The base is thin but really tasty. The salami adds to the flavour. This is my favourite it the wood fired range.
Enjoyable lower calorie option
As with the other pizzas in this range, the sourdough base is tasty in its own right and generally holds up well to the toppings. However, it is slightly uneven in thickness, meaning that parts of the crust remain somewhat doughy whilst others end up overly charred after cooking, and a small part of middle of the pizza can become soggy underneath. The tomato sauce is plentiful and tastes fresh and well seasoned. There are three large circles of salami, which have a delicate fatty flavour and crisp up slightly at the edges when cooked. The fennel seeds are whole and very large, and although this means that they provide a strong aniseed taste that may be off-putting for some, it also makes them easy to see and remove if you do not like this. Complementing the salami are several succulent semi-dried tomatoes that have a delicious, sweet flavour with a hint of garlic and olive oil. Like other reviewers have noted, the pizza does not have a generous covering of cheese and there are several large gaps without toppings at all, though for the relatively low calorie count this is to be expected. Overall, though the dearth of cheese is noticeable, the pizza has a good balance of other toppings and seasonings and is a decent offering for those wanting a flavourful lower calorie option.
