Excellent performance range capability laptop able to run demanding high end games at +60 fps (Ultra High Quality Settings) to 120 fps (Medium to Low Quality Settings) with its Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB dedicated graphics card at just 75 Watts power consumption. Keyboard is smooth and nicely laid out with smooth, quiet and low impact keys and adjustable back lighting that does not become unpleasantly hot even while playing demanding games. RAM can be upgraded from the default 8 GB up to 32 GB providing ample room for additional memory improvement. Its high-powered 7th generation core i5 quad-core processor with 6 MB cache combined with an internal 256 GB SSD with an additional slot for an additional SSD allows for massive amounts of storage while making boot-up, creating and using documents and surfing the web a breeze, yet can be throttled down to battery saving mode yielding +14 hours of battery life on low power settings. The 1920 x 1080 full HD screen brings graphics to life with excellent viewing angle ability. The matte black exterior finish complements the red keyboard lighting well with a solid quality construction feel, good fidelity speakers/sub-woofer and all at around 5 pounds in weight. All-in-all this is an excellent every day and gaming laptop that at US$899 (excl. tax) is extremely competitive and hard to match for its performance level!

The Dell 7567 hits all the marks to satisfy a portable PC gaming enthusiast, squeezes into a sleek package, and satisfies a very attractive price point. The GTX 1050Ti GPU is great, so far I've only played Counter Strike: Global Offensive and Guild Wars 2. Neither of them are graphics-intense games, but other reviewers tested newer AAA titles and this computer did great. The fans on the back of the device are stylish and keep the heat directed away. The speakers sit up front of the device and there is a small subwoofer on the bottom. Music playback on this laptop is great, you'd think it was plugged into a Bluetooth speaker. The keyboard is awesome and has red backlighting. It has two different brightness options, and you can turn it off. The WASD keys have a red border printed on them to reinforce the gaming focus. Typing on the keys feels as satisfying as a laptop could feel. The track pad is good and has satisfying clicks. No separate buttons for the track pad, which I like. The screen is nice. It's 1080p and it has good viewing angles. Earlier models had a TN panel with terrible viewing angles. It got a lot of criticism in initial online reviews, so they updated it to an IPS panel. Make sure you're getting an IPS display! The laptop is a little heavy, but it's to be expected with a gaming laptop in this size bracket. The sleek nature of the design helps. Other company's laptops have angled designs and look like ridiculous space ships. Other than the Dell logo, fans, speakers, and keyboard (all of which are red), you wouldn't really be able to tell that this laptop is for gaming (that is unless you pick up the model with the all red finish). The Dell Inspiron 15 7000 (7567) is a great gaming laptop that fits under a good price point.

My nephew had been enjoying this Dell model for his gaming entertainment from last 4 months which precipitated my son to purchase the same and now both are on cloud nine during summer break.

First of all I like red and black color combo (Looks sick!) I’ve been using it for 6 months but it’s still fast and fluid. Never had issues with it. I like the matte finish.

I was looking for a laptop that I could use for both work at the office and gaming at home. I didn't want to spend too much, and got this model on sale for $750. It came with a 256GB SSD, which I upgraded to 1TB HD. I had BestBuy install it for $40 and the technician looked like he stripped the screw and didn't even screw it all the way in. I asked him to fix it and he said thats just the way it is. I told him it wasnt, and he went into the back and fixed it probably 85-90%. I said Okay. I went home and the hard drive was not recognized. I drove back to the store and waited an hour for the technician to tell me "something must have gotten unhooked." He got the hard drive recognized and I went home. The computer worked great at home, pushing the few games I tried close to max settings. Don't expect to get the highest frame rate possible at the best quality in most games. It still looks decent though and recommend to those that are on a budget. I went to work and the wifi was terrible. It says it was connected with internet but it seemed to stop transferring data repeatedly. I researched on the web and saw that there were a huge amount of people in the past that have had problems just like myself. I tried everything that was recommended and nothing succeeded. I then returned the laptop to BestBuy and received the same exact model again. I brought it to work and had the same exact problems. I then called Dell for about an hour and I finally fixed the problem. It comes either pre-installed / or installed with Dell Updates that install a program called "SmartBytes". I uninstalled this program and everything has been great. I also installed a 512GB SSD drive myself instead of the 1TB HD (which was very easy, and ensured none of my screws were stripped by someone else... You need a special small screw driver to ensure the screw does not get damaged. I also had to purchase the SSD mount ($9.99 at BestBuy) to get the screws for this [the computer or SSD do not provide screws needed for mounting]). The 1TB HD seemed to make the computer boot much slower (even though the OS was installed on the original SSD), than the Samsung 512GB SSD that I installed myself with the second computer. Overall after everything is said and done, I love the computer I have now. I hope this information helps anyone else looking to purchase this computer.

I highly recommend this version as it has the IPS display rather than the poor TN panel that was shipped on the laptops prior. We had the base model with the TN panel before and returned it as it was slow (no SSD) and the screen was just poor quality. This is a much better laptop, boot times are fast with the SDD and the 1050TI graphics card is about 30% better than the 1050 so well worth the extra money if you can afford it. The laptop does not run hot and when the fans turn on they are not loud. My son is quite pleased with this laptop and immediately noticed the difference between this one and the base model-he LOVES this laptop. He uses it for school work and to play his favorite game-Rocket League. The base model wasn't terrible but this one is definitely well worth the extra money.

Briefly, I do 3D modelling/rendering and software development, I use laptops heavily and almost all day long. I watched and read lots of reviews before going for this laptop and I can say that this is the best PC purchase I've ever made and here is why: - SCREEN, IPS panel is day and night different than the previous TN panel, viewing angles are great, color accuracy is respectable and contrast ratio is amazing. DO NOT go for the cheaper $799 that comes with TN, plus the cheaper model does not come with PCIe SSD drive and 1050 not 1050Ti. - SIZE and WEIGHT; not the lightest but it is portable, I used it once while I was commuting size is fine if you wanna use it on you lap on a train and I can't feel the weight of it in my backpack considering that I don't carry the charger anymore, and here comes my next point. - BATTERY, I cannot believe that Quad Core laptop with dedicated GPU can last that much, of course NVIDIA optimus play a big part in this, but I literally hit 11 hours on a single charge with 50% brightness and WIFI on all the time. I surfed, downloaded couple apps and compiled using Android Studio and MS Visual Studio. If hardcore looks do not matter to you this is better than the business style XPS15, and for me XPS15 do not have the 2.5" bay for models that come with 97WHr battery. Bottom line, this laptop will give you full day of battery life, if you carry it to your work and use it in realistic way not (25% brightness with WIFI off) or having to use Edge instead of chrome to save battery life. Just charge it at night and leave the brick at home. - GPU; this has the 1050Ti which is faster than the 1050 in the cheaper model and way way faster than my last 860M in my Lenovo Y50. I render using CUDA a lot and I have a desktop with GTX1070, so this will be for light stuff and on the go and it is really good enough for my needs. - CPU; here was my only concern, I really wanted Bestbuy to carry the 7700HQ just for having 8 threads vs the 4 threads in the 7300HQ, but since I do my heavy lifting on GPUs nowadays, I don't mind having the i5, plus it consumes less power and thus will give you little bit better battery life. - HEAT & NOISE; The two fans are quiet, they produce less noise than my Macbook Air when the fans kicks in, and less than my old Lenovo Y50. Heat is quite good, it’s ice cool compared to the Y50 and to the MBA. HERE IS WHAT I DID: - I added 500GB 2.5" SSD EVO Samsung that I bought from Bestbuy for $149 a while ago, and now I have enough storage without having moving parts HDD that will consume more power from the battery. - I installed 32GB (16X2) memory sticks (LOW PROFILE ONES) I tried the Patriot Viper with heat sink and they did not fit because they are too thick for the slots. - I uninstalled all the bloatware from dell and the free subscription McAfee that comes with it, updated the windows and registered the laptop using Dell website (INTERNET EXPLORER ONLY). And I forgot to mention that it comes with 20GB 1Year dropbox subscription, and for me this was great news since I am a heavy dropbox user. - Shoutout to Bestbuy! This configuration is cheaper than if you wanna get it online from Dell, I don’t know how! But they did it. Plus, for me having to go to a store and picking it up the same day is priceless! GOOD: Stellar battery life. Great value. Matt IPS screen is awesome. 1050Ti, great for this price point. 256GB PCIe SSD, great for this price point. BAD: Looks, not so great. Keyboard, not the greatest but above average. Touchpad not the best (I am a mouse user anyway). Stock software, just get rid of it. Finger print magnet. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
