The Pioneer Woman Cowboy Rustic Metal Figural Measuring Spoons are beautifully crafted. They are almost to pretty to use. There is a butterfly, bird, flower and hearts designs on the end. The spoons are metal so they have a little bit of weight to them but I really like that. They are dishwasher safe but it is recommended to was them by hand to preserve their beauty. There is 1/4 teaspoon, 1/2 teaspoon, 1 teaspoon, 1 tablespoon. I really like all of the Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond's line of products. They are sophistacated yet practical and are durable enough for daily use. I can not wait to see what she comes out with next. I definately recommend The Pioneer Woman Cowboy Rustic Metal Figural Measuring Spoons to all my family and friends.

I am a Spark Reviewer for Walmart and was sent a free four piece Pioneer Woman Cowboy Rustic Metal Figural set of Measuring Spoons to review. The set includes a Tablespoon, a Teaspoon, ½ Teaspoon, and a ¼ Teaspoon. Most of us have a set of measuring spoons in our kitchen drawers whether they are plastic or metal but I can guarantee that almost no one has a set of measuring spoons like these. These measuring spoons are heavy duty and absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The spoons are a heavy duty metal and each spoon is evenly weighted when you hold them in your hand. There is a double layered lip around the outer under edges of the spoon makes it easy to measure ingredients from boxes, cans or jars. Each spoon will lay perfectly flat when set down so if you need to pre-measure an ingredient and set the spoon down it will sit flat with your ingredient without toppling over. The spoons have a shiny silver finish which is very pretty. Each handle has the measure amount in beautiful raised script. At the top of the handles each spoon has a pretty design. The Tablespoon has two butterflies, the Teaspoon has a bird, the ½ Teaspoon has two flowers and the ¼ Teaspoon has two hearts. The spoons are held together with a pretty black tie. At the very top of the handles there is an opening (where the tie is) so you could hang these spoons individually or as the set as a working decoration in your kitchen. The instructions say that hand washing is recommended and to not use abrasive things like steel wool on them. I just rinse them off after using, and then I wash with dish soap. I like the shiny finish so I dry them off with a soft towel. These spoons will make a beautiful gift at bridal showers, and gifts for the bakers and chefs in your world, after getting a set for you.

Beautiful and Functional Measuring Spoons

This is a beautiful set. Even though it is metal it looks and shines like good silver. They have the weight of silver but not the inevitable tarnishing. It is stated that they are dishwasher safe, but it is recommended to hand was them because of how harsh dishwasher detergent can be. The only problem that I have with this product is that they look no different than regular silverware. I understand that they are measuring spoons but I would like to have the measurements on the spoons. Because they don't have anything besides the pattern to tell they are different, I feel like they will eventually be used as eating utensils.

Beautiful

The Pioneer Woman Measuring Spoons are nice heavy spoons. They are also so cute that the kids want to come up with something to cook using them too. These spoons are a very usable item that is still stylish, you have all the most usable sizes, and they are heavy but not so bulky so that they don't take up much space. They also clean up nicely and still look good after using and washing, I hand wash but, I can see were they might get a tarnished look after a while of dishwasher cleaning. The Pioneer Woman Measuring spoons seem like they are quality made, heavy metal, should last a lifetime. The designs are timeless.

My old set was plastic and it got damaged with use. So thought a metal set would last longer. They are incredible cute, came with a black string if you want keep them together. They are so pretty that you could hang them for all to see.

Pretty

I am a big fan of everything Pioneer Woman! I received these Cowboy Rustic Metal measuring spoons from the Spark Reviewer Program. They look so much better than the pictures on the web. And they're heavier than they look. They are very shiny, and very detailed. You get 1/4 teaspoon w/ a heart, 1/2 teaspoon with a bird, 1 teaspoon with flowers, and 1 tablespoon with a butterfly. Very attractive looking measuring spoons. I washed them by hand immediately after I received them. (they recommend hand wash over the dishwasher). What might be difficult is keeping them smudge free. These are metal, not stainless steel. I've already scratched one just a tiny bit. So I will definitely have to be more careful with them. I plan on keeping them out on display in my kitchen. Too pretty looking to be hidden in a drawer!

These measuring spoons are really pretty. I like the fact that they are going to hold up for a really long time. They say you can wash by hand or in the dishwasher so I decided to try washing in the dishwasher. They cleaned up well, but also show a little rust after the first washing. I will wash them by hand for now on and dry them right away. One of them were scratched when I received them, but that doesn't take away from the way you use them. I would recommend these, especially if you are going to hang them out in the open, as they have a beautiful design.

Gets the job done

On the positive side, this set of fancy measuring spoons is sturdy and attractive.

Having said that, in my opinion the product does not reflect the name it is given. The designs on the measuring spoon handles do not reflect a "cowboy theme". Also, the metal is not what I think of when the word "rustic is used in the product name. Rustic is generally associated with a more rough, flat metal. So having said that, either the name of the product should be changed or the product itself should be redesigned to align with the cowboy theme. For example, the name could be something on the order of "The Pioneer Woman Mother Nature Measuring Spoons". If the product was to truly reflect the current name, then a more rustic metal that is flat (i.e. not shiny) with a cowboy motif on the handles, such as a cowboy hat, a horseshoe, a horse head and a cowboy boot would align with what the title suggests.

I was really excited about these measuring spoons.  Unfortunately, I didnt realize I wasnt supposed to put them in the dishwasher or I would have never purchased them.   I will let the picture speak to the quality.  Needless to say, this has me second guessing future pioneer woman goods.
