Great Motorola Phone!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So for the last 10 years, I have been mostly an Apple user. However, my work phone has always been an Android. And I've always liked Android phones. My current work phone is a Galaxy note 9. And I like it. I decided I wanted to make a switch for my personal phone. However I did not want to buy a Galaxy note 9 as they are expensive. The employee in the store help me narrow down my choices and I decided to go with the Motorola One. This phone is extremely beautiful. Has a iPhone X type of look. The first time I held it, I was really impressed with how easy it was to hold. I'm used to having to use both hands to hold a phone. So it was very refreshing to only have one hand to use this phone. The build quality is nice. It does not feel cheap at all. I have seen people complain about battery life, however, I have not seen issues with battery. I charge it overnight and wake up and go on with my day and by the end of the work day I still have about 40% left. So I am not sure what others are doing but I don't have that problem. I also like that it has expanded storage. I did buy an microSD card to upgrade my storage. day-to-day performance is pretty decent. The reason why I gave four stars instead of 5, is that it does lag just a small bit when playing a game like words with Friends. Sometimes it's a little laggy when sending a text message, but not enough to irritate me. call quality seems to be awesome. I have not had any calls drop. Crystal clear sound. The speaker is nice. The camera is a bit finicky. The selfie mode does it take the best pictures in the world. Definitely not good pictures in low-light. The rear camera is really nice. overall, I would recommend this phone. If you want a nice unlocked phone at a pretty affordable price, this phone is really a good way to go. Motorola really upped their game with this device.

Fancy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this as a replacement for my current phone, as I wanted an upgrade. I looked at the specs and thought it was decent for the price. Overall, looks very sleek. Almost passes for an iphone if you want something like that. The processor is okay. Not the fastest and most efficient, especially if you're trying to use Google earth and other heavy apps. The camera is nice, but nowadays most are outshadowed by the pixel ones. I had to return this one because it ended up being incompatible with my network even after several calls before I purchased it. Overall, this is a good budget phone if you want something that looks nice and has decent power, then you can add this one to your list.

Nothing to fault... except the updates
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Brilliant phone. The battery sometimes lasts me 3 days. Finger print reader unlock is fast. Great internal memory. Comes with a cover which is a bonus. Only issue is the amount of Motorola security update in the first month. I lost count of how many updates there were. But now that I have had my first week without any updates, really enjoying it.

Great phone, great price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start off by saying that I'm no power user/mobile gamer. I use this phone to listen to podcasts on the road, check social medias, and do normal phone things like call people. The speakers are surprisingly good after hearing those of the other phones in this price range. Screen is nice, clear and bright when needed. Cellular antenna is average. The phone (after a few weeks of use) hasnt locked up on me, and shows no signs of slowing down. To keep it short, this phone does everything it should, and everything I need it to. My one real complaint would be the battery. It's a shame to have a phone this well made and still have a sub 4k mAh lithium battery. It does run through about 4 hours of youtube/video play without charge, and I can still go at least a day of regular use, but I know this could become quite miserable to use in the future now with the lack of changeable batteries. All in all, if I had to score it, I'd give this phone an 8.5/10.

Not great overall performance, but awesome dual SI
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great option with having the option of running 2 separate carriers due to it having a spot for 2 different sims and did not effect performance BUT, overall performance was not very good

Dual SIM card Great in Europe
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked this phone because it has dual SIM cards which works well in Europe. It has compass compatability and plenty of memory. Very good camera both front and back. Unlocked and great value. I purchased two.

Good phone, mediocre smartphone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved my Droids, really like Motorola. This falls short with a substandard camera, the Moto apps don't do enough and Google Asst doesn't fill the gaps. No available cases or screen protectors. Motorola doesn't offer support. It is fast and supports plenty of apps. Haven't put it through full tests of power usage, but so far so good. Sounds not all loud enough, I don't hear notifications (see Moto apps). Without much effort, this could be A GREAT phone, could be intuitive and interactive. Motorola has no interest in addressing the issues.

Q: QuestionWill this phone support T-Mobile's band 71? The description says the phone will work with T-Mobile, but band 71, and band 12 (T-Mobile's other lte band) are not listed in the specs.
Asked by stylejuggler.
- A:Answer If the Motorola Rep that answered this question is actually correct no one with T-Mobile service should consider this phone. Lack of B71 is one thing, but no B12 makes this phone useless on TMO other than in the heart of cities. Move even in to the suburbs and TMO coverage will be very poor. How does Motorola think releasing a GSM Only phone in the US, without B12, make any sense? This shouldn't be a Best Buy exclusive, it should be an AT&T exclusive as that network is the only one it will have decent coverage with. Insanity.
Answered by LouisDi
Q: QuestionSo, from the specs it doesn't look like this phone will support extended range LTE on T-Mobile (bands 12 and 71). Is this correct? If so, this phone only seems to be fully compatible with AT&T and their MVNO partners for use in the United States.
Asked by ChuckIL.
- A:Answer I bought this phone without any research assuming it will work on TMO. It does not. On TMO i can make calls and phone connects only tob2G network. I'm out of return period hence not sure how to sell this !
