This color is just what I wanted!!! I'm a very dark blonde naturally.  I have a light of red tones in it and is very hard to lighten like I want. I bought this color, on a whim and I'm so glad I did, I love it!!! It lightened it about 3 levels!!! I will definitely buy this from now on. Thank you !!!

Product isn't overbearing with a decent smell. No burning or itching while it is processing I applied no heat and went from a dark brown to platinum within 30 minutes. This comes from someone who dyes their hair from black to blonde every other month. I will never use any other product because this one delivers and gives me exactly what I need so I can keep my hair from Falling out and dye my hair crazy colors.

Only lighter I will ever use.

This is the one if you need blonde but can't risk any brassiness. I have medium to dark brown hair with grown out highlights and needed a touch up during coronavirus quarantine. I made some application goofs since I didn't dye my whole head and worried I didn't let the product dry enough to get it as light as I wanted, but the purple conditioner that comes with it has actually seemed to lighten and cool it! I'll be getting another box to fix my mistakes asap.

Great for cool tone skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this light blonde to add highlights to complement my medium blonde hair. The brightness it added was amazing and the dye did no damage to my hair. The highlights stood out and I received many compliments! The smell was also important to note, not harsh like most blonde dyes. The after dye conditioner left my hair super silky and smelling amazing!

Amazing easy to use hair dye!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this color is great even for darker shades of hair. My natutal color is about  a 2B, but I've lightened some areas to about a 6. I used this to top some of the highlightes areas to a brighter hue and I was absolutely impressed. My co-workers and friends wanted to know what salon I went to. Well to there surprise I said the Garnier #Gotitfree salon at my home. I showed them pictures of the box and explained how the sampling worked. This product did not burn my hair nor did it have any problem lifting my curls to a brighter blonde. I would suggest using a good coconut oil or conditiomer the night before applying to keep your moisturized. Use a deep conditioner for the next week to reinfused protein  and strength.

Highlights Even Dark Hues

I have been using Garnier lines of hair color for years.  I am a women of color with naturally curly hair.  Because my hair is so curly, I am careful of the chemicals I use in my hair because I do not want to damage my curl pattern.  I recently cut my hair and started using the lightest platinum.  There is not one day that goes by that I do not get stopped and asked about my hair.  People are in love in the color and also the curls.  I guess they just really go good together. I love this product and will continue to use this color.  I have tried other colors but this one and this brand are the best.

My Platinum Curls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had dark autumn colored hair, so when I saw the color scale on the box I knew it would have slightly different results. I have colored my hair myself before but wanting to make sure that I did everything correctly I had my mom help me out on this one. My hair turned into a light red/blonde in the middle and ends but it was bleach blonde on the top. I didn't care for the results for the first 3 days after I colored it, now it's been washed a few more times the red part is fading into a color that I really enjoy. The simplicity of this product is great, 9/10 for people who haven't gone to beauty school it makes bleaching your hair a breeze! The conditioner it comes with is great as well, made my hair so silky without leaving a greasy feeling and also helped at the roots blend a little better, 7/10 but great for a box bleach brass remover! My hair has had a great amount of
 shine to it since I have used this product so I give huge props to Garnier for that! Something that would have made my experience a little better would be, I think there should have been a warning about red tones that are in the hair previously and how it can dramatically change the results. Overall I am still very pleased with this product!

Not the results I expected but I like it

A few things to get out of the way: mix it in a bowl! The developer alone (30 vol) is sooo thick I don't see how you could possibly shake and mix thoroughly. Also, I have 1 inch all over pixie hair and 1 kit was just enough to saturate the hair. Finally, the toning conditioner isn't strong enough. It's extremely pale purple. All that aside, it did a great job of lifting my light brown hair (which was previously lightened from medium/dark brown). It went yellow as anyone knows is what happens when you bleach hair - toning it gets platinum. A star removed for implying that the enclosed conditioner could tone enough. Also, my hair would've gotten to a paler yellow if it hadn't started burning at 30 min but that was my bad for putting it on hair that wasn't too dirty. Pix attached of before, during, and after. Will tone properly when my scalp has calmed down.

As much as the product did lighten my hair, it turned it super brassy. I look like I belong on Dragon ball Z or something. Super disappointed and will mostly have to pay to go to a professional at this point. That is after I'm done walking around with a hat on for weeks. It's easy to use and smells good, but overall results were terrible. Ans the bottles label also "rubs" off from bleach so you need to be careful to not get green dye in your hair.

Made my hair brassy!

No for the record it does NOT lighten anywhere close to 7 shades...it lightened my level 6 color to a level 8 orange ( no toner or platinum color achieved) The consistency when mixed is extremely thick and dries about very quickly leaving your application half dry before it is even completely applied creating a splotchy look.  I am furious.
