Had a brilliant time at Corey Hart's "Never Surrender Tour 2019", my friend and I had a blast and really enjoyed seeing Corey in concert for the first time. Would love to see him again if/when he comes back into town.

    Exceeded Expectations!!!

by Sharon on 7/1/19Rogers Arena - Vancouver

I have to admit, Corey Hart's latest album didn't really 'speak' to me, so I was a bit concerned about our enjoyment of the concert. And given that Glass Tiger gave a bang-up performance, I was even more concerned. But holy moley...he came out, belting his songs like he'd been touring for the last two decades!!! He talked about his life and family during his hiatus, giving the whole evening a very inspirational feel. Halfway through the concert, he and his band relocated to the middle of the floor...giving his fans in the back a closer view! During this time, he called up a fan who had won a greet-and-meet 22 years ago during a cancelled leg of his last tour...and made good on that promise!!! Then he brings out a local young man that he'd met the day before at a performing arts school, and performed a duet! I left with chills, and so thankful for the opportunity to have seen Corey Hart live!

From nostalgic dancing to tears and back to dancing

by PChisholm on 6/28/19Rogers Arena - Vancouver

First off, CH could not have had a better opener than Glass Tiger. We danced recalled high school dances and sang our hearts out. Corey, Hart could not have been a better host. He is such a kind and generous man. Honouring a deal for contest winner for a Meet and Greet from a show he had to cancel some 30+ years later brought tears to the eyes of everyone in the house. I would see both of them again, Thanks for the memories!

The 80s are alive and well in Canada

by MElkins on 6/28/19Rogers Arena - Vancouver

We caught the last show of his Canadian National tour and it was fantastic, 30+ years in the making. Rogers Arena is a really easy venue and the concert was so much fun! I had the opportunity to meet him prior to the show and he was so incredibly nice.

    Best concert of our lives!

    by L. P. on 6/28/19Rogers Arena - Vancouver

My wife & I flew 3000 miles to see this concert & it exceeded our most hopeful expectations. We weren’t sure how many fans would show up after his 22 year hiatus, but we had a full house in the arena by concert time. The warm up band was an excellent choice & did an outstanding job. It was wonderful to hear their music again. Unbelievable that the lead singer went on tour with Corey, just two weeks after neck surgery. Now that brings a whole new meaning to “The show must go on”! As for Corey Hart...we have never seen a performer try so hard to make everyone feel a part of his concert. He had a small stage set up in the back of the arena to play a segment of his concert, so that those in the more economical seats would have the same experience as those in the more expensive seats. He surprised a loyal fan by honoring a contest commitment to meet her he had made 33 years ago. (He was unable to fulfill it back then due to a concert cancellation) So instead of just meeting her backstage, he brought her on stage & sang a song to her & autographing a flag of her nation for her. (That was a cool personal touch) After that segment of the show, he then walked around the entire floor of the arena to briefly greet as many of his fans as possible, including signing autographs & taking selfies. Who does that⁉️😮 He seemed genuinely to be humbled by so many of his fans remembering him after being gone from the music scene for so long. He poured out his heart ( no pun intended....well, sort of.😉) & energy into every song. You could really feel the reciprocal affection between he & the audience. His joy & enthusiasm showed as he sang nonstop for the entire concert....with NO intermission! That’s a mighty effort for even the youngest of singers! The band was spot on & also seemed to really enjoy performing. Lastly, he introduced the band & then his wife, which seemed like such a personal touch to invite his fans to meet his family. For a performance to such a large audience, it came across as very intimate. As strange as it may sound, the whole perspective seemed almost as if he were singing to each of us personally...& with such obvious love & joy in his heart. It has been 22 years... but was well worth the wait & a 14 hour flight & tour through customs filled day to get there. Corey Hart...you rocked that house‼️ ✈️🎵😎
