No, not quiet that big but you could use 1/2 of it.

As I told another user, I think this butter dish is slightly wider than my original butter dish, but I've never really tried to fit more than one standard stick in there.  It may hold more than some butter dishes, but not sure about a whole pound.  I would advise you to check out the butter dish in person at a Wal-Mart store before ordering online if the big 1 pound block storage is a priority....that way you don't end  up disappointed. :)

I had them on my wedding registry as a set, and that's how I received them as a gift.  I'm not sure if the person bought in the store or online, but in a store I believe you buy separately.  Here on Wal-Mart.com, it seems to be a set with one barcode.

These are so beautiful! Sturdy glass, not super thin and fragile and the price is amazing. Might order a 2nd just in case my clumsy self breaks one, lol. They are perfect!

THESE ITEMS IN THE PIONEER WOMAN ADELINE COLLECTION ARE SO NICE AND REALLY DO LOOK LIKE ANTIQUES. THEY ADD A BRIGHT SPLASH OF COLOR TO AN OTHERWISE DRAB BLACK AND WHITE KITCHEN.

I love the style, color and size.  I love the butter dish lid being one piece instead of having a lid that screws on.  Also, I love the salt and pepper shakers having screw on lids.  My daughter collects pioneer woman and I nave several of her pieces. This outfit is completing my collection.

Loved the color , but the tops had same number of wholes, so must be careful when adding pepper. Once upon a time pepper shakers had less holes.
