Brilliant bionic
The A12 Bionic chip with Apple’s next-generation Neural Engine uses real-time machine learning to transform the way you use your apps. It’s means your 2019 Apple iPad mini is up to 3x faster than an iPad mini 4. You’ll be able to use apps like Adobe Photoshop CC, games with great graphics, as well as experience augmented reality (AR) features.

Retina display
The 7.9” Retina display comprises of 3.1 million pixels at a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, displaying incredible detail in your photos and videos and ensuring that text looks bright, sharp and well defined. The True Tone feature cleverly adjusts white balance, so your images look natural in almost all lighting conditions.

Cameras for memories and fun
With a front 7MP and rear 8MP cameras, the 2019 Apple iPad mini enables you to take great snaps, along with cinematic videos. Chat with far away friends thanks to FaceTime or plan your living space with AR.

What is augmented reality?
AR can cleverly merge information and digital objects with the environment around you, directly onto your phone screen. (If you’ve ever played or seen Pokémon Go, you have experienced AR already.).When looking at your phone screen, this ingenious technology enables you to see (for example) handy navigation arrows on a street – aiding you towards a set location, or you could view and then shoot virtual aliens as they invade your living room.

iOS12 is compatible with ARKit 2, unlocking more immersive AR experiences for app developers. AR objects can now be sent with Messages and Mail and viewed in the real world, while a new AR app called Measure helps you measure real-world objects just by pointing your camera at them.

Taking security seriously
2019 Apple iPad mini features an unprecedented level of security thanks to Touch ID. Touch ID lets you use your fingerprint as your password, letting you unlock your iPad or make secure purchases on the App Store, iTunes and iBooks. Your fingerprint information stays on your iPad- it’s not shared with anyone, even Apple, helping to ensure that your personal information remains private.

Wireless communication
Built-in Wi-Fi makes it easy to connect this tablet to the internet, whether that's through your own home network, Wi-Fi at work or a public connection. Bluetooth will let you send files and folders wirelessly between Bluetooth devices, or even stream music to compatible speakers or headphones.
