Nestled between Seattle’s stunning skyline and Puget Sound is Pike Place Market. We were established in 1907, and have been a beloved public market featuring small independent businesses, local farmers, artists, craftspeople, and buskers for over one hundred years and counting!

Where is Pike Place Market?

Pike Place Market stretches across a nine-acre historic district. From 1st Avenue to Western Avenue, east to west, and Virginia Street to just past Pike Street, north to south.

Hours: Open Daily

Every day is different in the Market but most of Pike Place Market is active from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with some of our restaurants staying open until midnight or later. Pike Place Market is also open 7 days a week, closed only on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

General Hours

Breakfast: 7 a.m.
Fresh Produce & Seafood: 7 a.m.
Crafts Market: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Farm Tables: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Artisanal Food Program: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Fri – Sun)

 

Merchant Building Hours

Open daily: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Restrooms: 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. (North restroom open until 7 p.m.)
Restaurants: 7 a.m. – 2 a.m.; varies
Secret Garden: 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
