Curious Kittens Nursery, City College Plymouth are offering the opportunity for an experienced Room Leader to join our exceptional provision, and contribute to providing best outcomes for children and their families in a positive environment with a focus on supporting lifelong learning.

As Room Leader within our infant room, you will lead a dedicated team of skilled practitioners, ensuring a safe, healthy & inspiring environment and enabling a curriculum programme to reflect the individual learning dispositions and attitudes of every child so that all children are enabled to enjoy and achieve.

The successful candidate for this role will hold a childcare qualification at Level 3 or above (or equivalent), together with a GCSE (grade C or above), in English and in maths.  You will have excellent organisation skills, and be adaptable and able to juggle priorities and multi-task. Previous experience of working with children within the age range of 0-2 years is essential, and experience of working with children across a wide range of ages and abilities is desirable. You will demonstrate a passion for supporting all children to reach their fullest potentials within an enabling environment.

Please note that this position is for maternity cover.
