According to the assembled dimensions it is not even 4 foot to the top of the cabinet.  If you search Arcade 1Up most articles are calling these 3/4 sized cabinets.

My daughter and I put this together,  very easy, she is 12 and we love the game, it passes time and very enjoyable. . I bought pac man also, that's my daughters favorite game and I got my hubby centepeed for Christmas,  so we'll give a review on that one after Christmas. . Well worth the money.?

Arcade 1 up Galaga

I'm a modern gamer, but have an affection for certain retro games/machines. I've owned these cabinets for a month and they are fantastic machines for the price (I picked up the Galaga one for $150 and Street Fighter for $200). If you can find them for under $300, absolutely buy them. Even if you can't find them on sale, they're still great for the price because they look great, play great, can be easily modded, and the customer service is great. For people complaining about issues straight out of the box, Arcade1Up will send you replacement parts totally free if you just contact them and provide your receipt. They're even providing control panel protectors for free through March 2019 because they realized they messed up and didn't clear coat the control panel, which means the paint will peal if you use the machines enough. They've recognized they're QA/QC was not as good as it should've been, and they're owning it; can't ask for more from a company selling me a product. Just fill out the form on the website. You should get your parts within a month. If you're expecting an arcade cabinet with the same quality build and functionality as a $3,000 cabinet, you will be disappointed. Likewise, if you're expecting to play these for hours on end, they're not going to hold up forever. They're not made to be your main gaming console. The QA/QC should be better, but I'm glad the company is addressing it, and if you realize that you're buying a cabinet essentially made out of IKEA-quality materials to simulate the experience of the arcade, you'll be more than happy. You absolutely will need the risers though unless you're buying for kids.

5 Stars if You Expect a $300

For the price the build quality is very good!  Gameplay is on point with the arcade.  I would say its pretty much identical except you dont need quarters.  Artwork is beautifull, buttons and joystick have a good feel.  I may invest in the acrylic protector for the controller top as i see myself playing this a lot!  Get the riser for it!  The riser integrates nicely and puts it at an arcade height.  I keep mine in my living room running all the time.

Great way to spend your tax return!

I basically didnt know these 1up games even existed until I saw them on the internet. I went to walmart and they had a display and it blew me away. The cabinet with the Galaga graphics and game play was spot on. 
I had to buy it after all it was my all time favorite in 1981. 
The box it comes in is well packed and the instructions are very easy. It took a screwdriver and about 30-45 minutes. 
When we got it assembled I just kept thinking wicked cool. We turned it on and 1981 just came right back to me. The joystick and fire button feels just like the big arcade console. 
No need for quarters but I put one up on the deck for nostalglia.
I bought the âriserâ for the bottom from Walmart for $40 w/ free shipping. I looked on the web this was the cheapest. It gives 12 more inches in height which feels great when playing.
Before I purchased obviously I went on utube to see reviews. All were pretty much great except 1up didnt put a deck protector on so the graphics would not wear off.
On a video a guy said he called 1up customer service and they set him one.
So I called their customer service and had to take a picture of the whole receipt and send it to their email address. I received the 
deck protector. No need to buy one just call 1up customer service.1-800-764-2760

GalagaArcade 1up

The Arcade art is spot on and assembly is very easy. The instructions are amazing and should be a standard for anything you need to assemble. The screen is really nice and the controls are well done and feel realistic. The sound is great too. in fact it was done so nice that it brought back a ton of memories. I make own retro systems and this is nice because it only plays two games but it's done well! Actually this should be price higher for the build quality. Now if you're an advanced retro gamer then this might not be what you want and you should get the original. This is very close to the real thing. worth the money!!

Worth the Money, lots of detail!

Almost Perfect, only trouble was it delivered before Christmas with label all over in big box with arcade pictures all over it. Front panel rubbed off in first 8hrs of playing it but 1up company will replace it with a plexiglass cover and decal replacement but there is no mention of this on the order or in the box! Walmart should put this in the order!!!!

Almost Perfect

I love this game and have loved it since I was a teenager.  I got this as a gift and was very surprised with it. The only complaint is the Joystick moves slowly sometimes and gets stuck and also the shooting button is delayed and i have reached a 134,000 on the game and it will not display the high score at the top, it cuts off the 1 and if you reach 34,000 playing it, the score resets itself, If I could get some help for that it would be great.

High Score over 100,000

The gameplay is awesome.  I got a high score of 90200 on Galaga the second night i had it and have been trying to beatnit since.
I have had this game for about three weeks but now the joystick is hardly moving.
I am going to return it but I think it will be hard to replace it since this game is always sold out.
I also have the Rampage and Ateroids/Centipede 12 game consoles from Arcade 1 up.
I am also exchanging the Asteroids/Centipede (to another retailer) because that one keeps crashing.
At this price point, I wasnt expecting top of the line but much better than I have seen so far.
If the arcades did not have these two issues, 5  stars all the way.

Look and play good when working

Complete garbage product.  Game freezes up during play and you have to turn the power off them back on the reset it.  Customer service is non-existent.  I cannot get them to resolve the problem.  I've been trying to get them to send the parts to fix it, but they won't respond.  They send an e-mail every 3 weeks or so asking for me to resend all the documentation (receipt, photos, video etc..).  I resend everything, but then hear nothing from them.  I'll be loading this piece of junk in my truck and hauling it down to Wall-Mart and have them deal with it.  DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY BUYING THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE.

Junk, Junk, Junk...Buyer Beware.
