Monitor is great for the price, hard to find a 144Hz 27" monitor with Freesync/Gsync in this price range.

Yes Nvidia Gsync works great with DP cable.

When setting up you need Display Port for 144hz. 
When connected for the 1st time make sure you enable FreeSync via monitors OSD then proceed to switch monitor from 60hz to FrreSync/Gsync 144hz via the windows display properties.

While in OSD turn on overdrive it helps minimize ghosting effect.

Set the monitor to standard color scheme, then use Nvidia Control Panel or AMD driver control panel to adjust the colors. With some tinkering of OSD

Great monitor for the budget gamers.

Setup was easy.  The stand base clicks together, then attaches to the panel with a single retention screw.  There are a few degrees of tilt, but overall, the stand is basic.  The build quality of the actual panel is really good.  It has a modern, slim bezel design.  It looks like a 2019 monitor.  It will also be appreciated my many that the monitor is clearly designed for gaming, but doesn't look gamer.

I set out looking for a 144hz, 1080p, TN panel, Free Sync monitor.  Most panels with those features are VA.  I wanted TN as they have the fastest response time, lowest input lag, and produce the smoothest image with imperceptible ghosting.  The trade off is some poorer color depth and contrast.  I can tell you that the VA panels in the price range are not great anyway.  I found this Dell monitor to be quite pleasing to look at. 

Playing fast paced games is a very good experience.  The Free Sync works flawlessly, 144hz is incredibly fast, and there is no ghosting at all using Over Drive +2.  The difference compared to 60hz is drastic.

The not so good aspect is the OSD menu.  It looks like a menu from 10 years ago.  Navigating the menu is fine, but it could be better.  There are plenty of adjustments to be made, but the layout and appearance definitely needs an update.  The USB hub is also USB 2.0.  In 2019, that should be USB 3.0.  I wish the stand was also better, but it's hard to complain at this price and the panel itself is quality.

Great Buy

I was able to activate G-sync through a display port cable which was a must for me.
Display needed some adjustments before I was satisfied, so far it seems to be working good, no screen tearing or dead pixels. 
There was a small amount of backlight coming through on the edges which you can only really see if you're on a dark screen.
Would be 5 stars if it were a IPS panel and 1ms response with a display port cable.

Great monitor, Recently added Gsync compatiblity

It's nice.. Good picture and quality. If you are buying this because of the 144 Hz ability, make sure your graphics card supports 144 Hz. Otherwise you will be buying this for nothing. Or at least you will be buying it and then having to spend another 300 to 800 hundred dollars for a graphics card that will do the job.. lots of computers will support up to 120 Hz for computers a few years old but still require a decent graphics card. With the CPU itself if you are buying this monitor for gaming then make sure you have at least i5 or better. also make sure your graphics card supports the newer sync modes. many older graphics cards will not support this function. So it's obviously a nice monitor for the money and i have had more success with the 144 Hz.. more frames = smoooth and more enjoyable live gaming. No lags here :) but make sure you have good internet good router and up to date computer, if you don't have you could buy a cheap 60 Hz monitor and expect the same performance as this one.

what to expect and if this will work 4 you

I bought this a few months ago (late 2018), and have had no issues with it.  Needed to force windows to recognize it as a monitor vice TV to get to the 144hz.  And nVidia allows Freesync to play nice with gSync now, I've had no issues in my games.  Running a 1070Ti on a i7 980X.  The text reading option is great for regular web surfing too. Quick pop over to Games when doing that.  You have to provide the DP cable though.

144Hz FreeSync - Unofficially GSYNC compatible.

Not as advertised. Reasonably good images, but it's a 24" monitor as that is all one can use. The screen itself is 27" but there is a 1.5" area on each side of the screen and 1" at top and bottom that is unusable, regardless of resolution chosen. A half-gig express card should have no problems with it.

It's a 24" monitor, not 27"

Good monitor except that when connect to display port cable running 144hz, i keep getting "out of range" message.  The monitor goes black during my game. Have to keep turning monitor on and off. Frustrating.  So, I connected via hdmi and no issues, except you don't get 144hz.  I get 120hz with no G sync.
