No sugars come with the machine, you must buy your own.

No ingredients come with the machine, but all you need is regular sugar.

No ingredients are included. Regular sugar can be used but will not have any flavor. I purchased cotton candy floss sugar separately. According to the box, Sugar free or hard candy can be used also.

No they don&#39;t come with it just pick up a bag of either jelly ranchers or some sort of hard candy or you can use plain sugar from home that actually works the best

It only comes with some reuseable plastic cones. We bought the Cotton Candy Express Fun Pack with Blue Raspberry, Cherry &amp; Grape which came with 50 paper cones. (We also figured out that if you cut the tops of the cones off to make them a little shorter,  it was easier for the kids to make their own. )

I used candy candy and sugar. Worked great, Smaller portions. They suggested jolly ranchers. I threw around the idea of halls :D

Have you seen the video of grinding Werther's Candy into a powder to make cotton candy? This may be the solution you need to making a better cotton candy. I'm going to try it as it sounds too yummy not to.

No, you cannot use Splenda or Stevia. The chemical composition isn&#39;t the same as regular white sugar so you will not achieve the same result. For best results, use hard candy such as Life Savers.

After looking at rentals costing $85-$95, I found this sweet little machine and decided to give it a try at our small backyard fair.  I’m so happy that I did!  It arrived in perfect condition and was so easy to set up.  I honestly wasn’t expecting a lot for $25, but I was pleasantly surprised!  This machine worked so well, was easy to clean and made perfect cotton candy!  Our granddaughters were very pleased!!

Easy to make cotton candy!!

Make sure you're on a hard level smooth surface. It uses suction cups to keep it from wobbling too much when not perfectly evenly loaded. Heat the unit up for at least five minutes. Use two JR hard candies per use. Cut each JR candy in half, for a total of four pieces. Stop the unit, let it coast to a full stop. Quickly, but evenly, distribute the four pieces (mix and match flavors!) and then let 'er rip! Almost instantly, you get perfect carnival-style cotton candy. I find it best to just keep the cone at a 45 degree angle, place it about half-way into the unit, and rotate the cone in my hand. It makes a great serving of yummy cotton candy! Not at all hard to clean. I'm not sure why so many reviews mention a poor fitting lid. Ours works fine. This is a great little unit, perfect for parties and movie night.
