Great product, and on rollback!

The 12v Max cordless drill, it is sleek, easy to handle, light weight in comparison to the other bigger drills. Its start button is ergonomically set alongside the reverse/forward button for easy change of direction when drilling or screwing. The Lithium battery holds a great charge for those household jobs as well as outside the home. I found that the battery clips in and out without any struggles. The charger is easy to set-up and charges as well as any of the larger lithium chargers. 
The attachments such as drill bits, screw bits, socket bits just those help make this an excellent set to have, but add in the hammer, screw driver set, pliers set, tape measure, L-wrench set, box cutter and to top it off a carrying bag to put all these tools in! You are just about ready for any job around the house, garage or job site. I found these accessories to be sturdy and reliable when being used. I would recommend this kit for any household or someone who is just starting out on a job site needing tools to work with. I would even recommend this to any construction worker who needs a set for the job site. Again this is a great set to have in your home, car, garage with the carrying bag easy to access and store.

Awesome combination tool set

It was great to have, to help put my new furniture together. It had everything me and my boyfriend needed to complete our new apartment. We got all IKEA furniture and everyone knows how such an hassle putting together their furniture is. Black and decker is a reliable product.

This drill set/project kit has a ton of useful tools. To start with, the drill is a compact sized drill with a lithium ion battery. It packs plenty of punch for the majority of users. The battery lasts a long time and the charger even has a battery Indicator on it to show the charge level. It's easy to grip and not to heavy like the bulkier drills. One feature I like the most is the variable speed on the drill. The easier you squeeze the trigger, the slower the drill will drive. 
It also has a ton of drill bits and attachments for any sort of drilling or screwing project you may come across. 
As for the rest of the tools, it's just the basic everyday tools. Hammer, tape measure, manual screwdrivers, pliers, wrench, utility knife as well as a handy carrying case. 

A lot of bang for your buck with this kit. Lithium batteries last quite a bit longer than the older nicad batteries also, so I'd say this is a great buy. 
Black and Decker always has been a good brand from my past experiences and I see no reason why it wouldn't continue with this set. 
I'd recommend.

Great DIY starter kit

We purchased this gift for my daughter in law.   They just moved into a new house and having her own tools was the best gift she received for her birthday.   It's a perfect basic set.  Now she can build from there.

This is a great little kit to have for small jobs around the home. The battery power is great, stays charged for a very long time. My only criticism is that the screw drivers are a bit chunky, especially the phillips head, and do not seem to fit with most screws.

Nice Kit

Picked this up at my local Walmart because I needed some basic tools and didn't want to one, pick each tool out separately, and two, didn't want to spend a lot.  
This set has been great.  I trust the Black and Decker brand and it covers most of my bases for things I either need to fix or put together.  
The only thing is I wish is the bag that it came with was more of a hard-sided case with a place for each item so it all fit back perfectly.

Trusted Brand, Meets Expectations

This is a good set to give to a young couple buying their first home, who are not big on DIY, but need basic tools. It includes many tools they will need for the rest of their lives all in one carry bag. 
For me, it was more of a supplement to my vast collection. I have always used electric power tools because I like them ready at a moment's notice and work mostly inside where outlets are convenient anyway. This is my first real cordless drill. I used it right out of the box without charging, and it was ready to go. I went right for rusty screw removal since that's the toughest job for a drill. It handled that great! Got whatever screws out that did not disintegrate completely, LOL. The variable speed is very controllable. The keyless chuck grip is too smooth though. I cannot get a good grip of it to open the chuck and must use a rubber can lid grip.
The little charger is the slow type- takes 7-8 hrs to recharge a fully drained battery, but you can leave it on the charger indefinitely so it is ready for the next job, whenever that is. It has indicators to advise of bad battery, a charging delay for cold or hot battery, and indicates when charging and full.
The hand tools and accessories included are beginner quality. The hammer is small and light. Both screw drivers have heads that are way too large for typical uses so are worthless. The hand grips on all tools are very comfortable - thick and soft. I like that the hexes are all connected in one convenient tool and you can still get leverage by opening one to 90 degrees and using the tool as the L. It has rubber finger grips too! The carbide drill bits are in a rubber base and you can push them out from the holes in the bottom. I just wish they came with a thick plastic pouch because they are sharp to have loose in the bag. The screw driver bits are also in a rubber base but it doesn't have holes in the bottom to push them out and they are also so close together that it's extremely difficult to pull them out! Once I get them out, I don't push them back in as far, which helps. It's a good assortment, but wish there were fewer large/thick screwdriver bits and more small/fine ones in both types. The 10' measuring tape has two temporary hold buttons on it in addition to the slide lock, which I really like!
The case is a simple canvas bag. It adds no weight which is good, but it has no sections or pockets inside or out, so things get very unorganized in it. I put the accessories in two of the plastic bags from the packaging doubled up, so they stay together and don't damage the handles of the other tools. I also wish it had two zip pulls on each side because if forget to close zip all the way, things can fall out the side.
All-in-all, for the price, I think this is a great value and would make an excellent gift for beginners.

I brought a set like this 8 years ago for my camper and loved it! I decided I wanted one for my house so I brought this one. Difference is night and day. I brought this set on sale and already the Matt knife has broken and everything has a cheap feel to it. The drill is small and everything is just thrown Motor Mouthin a bag.  Next time I will go to the store and look at my items before I ever order something online.
