The top, as reviews stated, will not fit perfectly ever but at least it fits enough. So i would have still kept or bought it again HOWEVER… My biggest concern, is that the top completely EXPLODED and glass was everywhere! I am a well seasoned home cook, and use to work in cooking as well. This has never happen to me, and there was no drastic changes in temperature to justify it. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

I had this for four months before the bottom became uneven. The middle bottom made a bump and wasn’t sitting flat on the stove. It wasn’t cooking right so I threw it away. Expensive for something that doesn’t last

The T-Fal 12qt Stock Pot is huge. I needed a big pot to cook corn, ribs and soup in. This pot is perfect for that. However it seems lighter and more flimsier than the shorter, wider pot.

One of our stoves is an antique gas stove. We use it often when have family over for dinner. The flames blaken the bottoms of her silver pots. We'll see how this pot handles being used on that stove over time.
